Sometimes I think about the fact that everyone in Ordon believed (and hoped) Link had already left on his trip to Hyrule before the raid happened and that Link didn't correct them on that when he actually got hit on the back of his head, left for dead, turned into a wolf, and got abducted anyway.

Loz TP AU in which Link for some reason didn't end up in Ordon's care and it's really sad. He starts his journey and runs into them and gets adopted as a teen instead and it's the most love he's ever experienced.
