#pattern keeper

Under 1,000 stitches left! Incredibly thankful for whatever has given me this burst of motivation to finish. I went from hoping to be done by Spring 2026, to maybe Christmas, to maybe Halloween, to know a likely finish (of standard stitches) before the end of September! The backstitching though, that'll be the fun part. The way that backstitching makes a cross-stitch piece pop is so immensely satisfying.

Spent some time loading cross stitch patterns I have bought into pattern keeper.

I don’t think there’s anything we do on our end for that? If there is, someone should definitely let us know. I do know that the app creators have a suggestion bin for libraries (bibliographies? What does one call a group of patterns?) they should offer compatibility with, but as a creator, I know that I feel a little bit weird suggesting my own product as something they should offer compatibility with. The list is also terrifyingly long. So, while it may be something that happens in the future, I can’t with any certainty say that it will be at all soon.

Hi! So I’m not familiar with pattern keeper, but I just went and took a look. I think the answer is ‘no’, unfortunately; the automatic import didn’t work, and after a fair bit of fiddling I wasn’t able to get the manual import to read the pattern, either. I’ll have to look into what all would have to change in order for a pattern to be compatible with the program-- it really does seem like a great timesaver! 

If you have any problems with a pattern please let me know. The floss may not import, but all symbols shouldn't have a problem now! It's been a little labour of love for the past few weeks. I don't like making these self promo-y posts but how else will people find me lol
