ROUND 1 — Match 245 of 276
Dr. Facilier (Princess and the Frog)
Problematic because: "he turned a guy into a frog, helped another guy commit identity theft, and also for some reason made the frog thing contagious?" Propaganda: "he is fantastic. amazing musical number. good character motivations. the last bastion of disney 2d animated movies, even."
vs. Sean Daniels (Changeling)
Problematic because: "he's a stray werewolf who isn't part of any clan, which in changeling basically means he has zero protection from any supernatural danger. he was a hunter when he was human so no clan wants to take him in. he's set up to look like he'll be an antagonist on danny's route because he's trying to pressure danny (another lone werewolf) into forming a clan with him and his best friend derek, but danny refuses bc he wants nothing to do with clan politics. sean and derek seem really violent at first when the protagonist doesn't have context, he intimidates both danny and her physically and tries to control their friendship/relationship, telling her to stay away from him, that she's holding him back, etc." Propaganda: "along the way as the route goes on you kind of learn that him and derek are just genuinely terrified for their lives. they're not out to harm anyone. there's a scene where the protagonist and danny come across sean beaten up because he's targeted by other werewolves and hunters. near the end of the route, the protagonist and sean end up in a really dangerous situation together and they work well together and try to look out for each other. in danny's good ending him and derek get help from him and the agency to move to another city and find somewhere new where people won't know about his past and will be more willing to take him in and i'm just really glad he got a hopeful ending and didn't just get a tragic end becausse he's rude and unwilling to accept help at first."
Who should advance?
Dr. Facilier
Sean Daniels

Dreams do come true in New Orleans! ❤️🐸
Sketch of one of my favorite Disney films.
Hey, i kinda like your work but i absoloutely love your art! What interests me the most are your Canon Descendants projects, with my absolute favorite story being the one of the Facilier girls! I was wondering whether you would do more art of them and their new happy family; besides, it's almost time for the Princess and the Frog anniversary, so i think it would be a nice touch doing it.
Ah alas I missed the anniversary, but here’s some new doodles of the girls who started the whole Canon Descendants project!
And then I redraw their family protrait cuz their old one was just...not my best work 😅

Do you guys like my niche ship
"She just speaking out a broken heart. That's all that is. Come on, Evangeline. We're going to show chère the truth!"
💚 For the way you're something that I'd never choose, but at the same time something I don't wanna lose and never wanna be without ever again. You're the best thing I never knew I needed. So now it's so clear, I need you here always.
