#MotivationMonday I wanted to post this today because I'm coming up on three years of following these at-home workouts and nutrition. THREE YEARS of making my health and fitness a priority so that I can be there for my two little girls, my husband, and myself!! The pic on the left is me, 4 weeks postpartum, after baby #2. I was the heaviest I'd ever been. I felt enormous. I was depressed and dealing with SERIOUS baby blues. And I didn't know how I was going to get the weight off considering breastfeeding never got the weight off with baby #1 so surely it wouldn't for baby #2! (It didn't btw!) So I decided to try something totally new. I finally decided to try these at-home workouts, try this new approach to nutrition, and go ALL IN. And by 4 months postpartum, not only did I lose all of my pregnancy weight, I had ABS! Like real, defined abs!! The pic on the right is from last week. Not only have I kept the weight OFF but at age 38, I am in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE thanks to these workouts, this nutrition plan, and, more importantly, the support and motivation from the challenges I participate in and run!! If you feel stuck, if you feel like you've tried everything, if you feel like NOTHING WILL WORK, sometimes you have to give something new a chance. Had I not taken that chance, I may still be the sad, lonely, depressed mama you see in the first pic. The first step is ALWAYS the hardest. But it will be worth it! . . . . . . . . . #fitmom #formercollegeathlete #momscanbeathletes #momswhoworkout #pcosweightloss #pcosweightlossjourney #pcos #ivfsuccess #ivfjourney #pcoswarrior #aclsurgery #fitmomof2 #strongmommy #sarcasticmom #parentingfunny #prediabetes #teamfiredup #sarcasticmom #postpartumbody #pcosfood #insulinresistant #cleaneating #fitmum #fitstrongmum #sarcasticmum #pcosmom #pcosmum #momlife (at Charlotte, North Carolina)
