˚。⋆୨ ♡ Post on Mspec Lesbians ♡ ୧⋆ ˚。
Hi . I wanted to express my opinion on bi / pan / omni lesbians. I think they're completly valid and that it's unfair that people still exclude them. I am not a mspec lesbian myself, so if u are, please give your opinon on this post ⊹˚. ♡
What is an Mspec Lesbian?
Mspec reffers to all s3xual identities that are attracted to more than one gender, so how can a lesbian form part of this group? S3xual and romantic attraction are in fact seperate. You may be homoromantic but be s3xually attracted to the opposite gender. For example, a Bi Lesbian would be a woman who is homoromantic and bisexual, or homosexual and biromantic.
⊹˚. Mspec lesbians are supported by the very definition of lesbian, since it supports the split attraction model.
Definition : Refers to a woman who has a romantic and/or sexual orientation toward women. ⊹˚.
Notice and/or? It means that a lesbian may feel only romantically or only s3xually attracted to other women. They may be bisexual or biromantic. An argument many people use to devalue this is that it isn't supported by the definition (which it is) but then, they go out and say they support non-binary lesbians (which are not). Obviously, non-binary lesbians are valid. But these people are hypocrites by saying that mspec lesbians aren't valid with arguments people use to say non-binary lesbians aren't.
That's the end of the post. Thanks for reading ! ♡ ( ´ ▽ ` )
