This Caramelized Salmon recipe combines the rich flavor of salmon with a sweet and tangy marinade, creating a delightful Paleo dish that's sure to impress.
Ingredients: 4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each. 1/4 cup coconut aminos. 2 tablespoons honey. 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger. 1 tablespoon coconut oil. Salt and pepper, to taste. Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish optional.
Instructions: To make the marinade, combine the coconut aminos, honey, apple cider vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl. After putting the salmon fillets in a shallow dish, cover them with marinade. Give it a minimum of half an hour to marinade. In a big skillet over medium-high heat, warm the coconut oil. Save the marinade after removing the salmon from it. Rub some salt and pepper on the salmon. Skin side down, put the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for four to five minutes. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet after flipping the salmon fillets. Sear the salmon for an additional 45 minutes, or until it's caramelized and cooked through. If desired, top hot salmon with chopped cilantro.
