I'm fortunate enough that I've gotten to care for a small flock of St. Croix sheep the past few years. They're a rare breed of hair sheep from the Caribbean, and they're rather "goaty" in appearance and appetite. I've been wanting to draw them for a bit, an today's prompt was the perfect excuse to finally give it a try. The rams often get all the attention with their shaggy winter manes, but I really love the sweet faces of the ewes, and I think they're lovely in their short summer coats. (Also, St. Croix lambs are ridiculously cute, and I'm excited for a late summer lambing season this year!)
