For today's Zooly "Chickens" prompt, I chose to draw a barred Plymouth rock because, well, they're FUN to draw! Can you find all the chicks? The Plymouth rock is one of my favorite breeds that I have in my flock. They're great egg-layers, laying around 200 brown eggs a year, but as a dual-purpose bred I also raise a few each year for meat. 100 years ago this was the most popular breed of chicken in the United States. While the exact origin of this breed is a bit contentious, genetic analysis shows the main ancestor of the Plymouth rock is the similarly barred Dominique. Ink pen with Copic markers.
Zuli and Ruli as 2B and 2C? If that’s ok?
Ruli in 2c is a nice choice I-
Oh. Damn okay.
@julez-draws
So here's 2b and 2c:
And here's the squad squad:
I think Zuli is what the inside of my brain looks like actually-
Btw Julez, because I do not have the patience to draw Ruli in the exact same dress twice, is it okay if I do the other Zuli as a single request? 😅
Send me requests!
Dragon Zooly day 2 - Eagle
Bit tricky making an eagle-based dragon and not make it look like a griffin, lol. Looked to harpy eagles specifically for the head.

I absolutely LOVE the color of black otter rex rabbits; they look so plush and velvety! So it was an easy choice for today's Zooly prompt. Rex rabbits descend from one litter of French wild rabbits in 1919 who had a genetic mutation keeping the guard hairs from growing longer than the undercoat. In addition to the formal Rex breed, there are several other breeds with "rex" fur texturing. Ink pen and Copic markers.
I am really happy with today's coyote for the Zooly Art Challenge, especially the fur; I think it may be my favorite of all my Zooly pieces so far! A little "oops" by the muzzle, but that's okay. Ink pen and Copic markers.
Okay, so last night I was getting some drawing time, and I forgot that today's Zooly prompt was dogs--I had planned to do today's drawing *today*, because last night for whatever reason my little comic-nerd self decided I wanted to create fanart of Ace the Bat-hound, but in my style. So that fit in perfectly for today! Now Ace has been through several breeds and styles, but I went old-school--an (unrealistically) solid brown German shepherd wearing just a mask and a bat-symbol on his collar. Looking at scans of the old comics I figured GSD red would be the closest color match, so I just used photos of black and red GSDs and omitted the saddle and other black markings. Also, my own (black) German shepherd, Pikka, was the body model! Ink pen and Copic markers.
