Mexico city has the best public transport options! This sky gondola system services two mountainous parts of the city where it is too steep to provide buses or subways. 🚡 The people in these areas take such pride in their homes, too. One area painta murals on their rooftops for riders to appreciate. The other area paints their homes in colorful shades so it looks like you're floating past rainbows. 🌈 The best part? We finally got a photo of one of the cool yellow birds in our complex. Of course they are orioles just like our old apartment. According to our Seek app, these are Hooded Orioles. We have been using this app in our travels since 2019 when another worldschooling family introduced us to it in Vietnam. All we have to do is either upload a photo or use the app to take a photo of any living thing. The app then tells us the scientific name as well as a bunch of cool information about it. The photos are then used by scientists to track the range of various lifeforms around the planet. Have you used this app?
