That confession about orlans not having sharp canines in Avowed made me realise I’ve been adding them back in my head all this time. Yatzli NEEDS a set of pointy little fangs. It just feels right.
I have “I love my watcher so much” disease
I haven’t played POE yet, just reading the manual while the game downloads, but what is it with people’s totally not hobbits being a historically oppressed people. Golarian has halflings as the most commonly enslaved species in Cheliax. And now the Orlans are also historically oppressed. Are halflings in DnD settings other than the Forgotten Realms historically oppressed? Do authors just look at the pastoralist fantasy of the Shire and find the need to write a contrast in their own world?
Rhoswen of the Guided Compass joins my Hero Forge minis for our Pillars ttrpg campaigns! Also featuring, for scale, Dal with her glow-in-the-dark-dahlia dice; Fjóla with her icy elven dice; and a couple of mini dice sets for the orlans. :-D And featuring surprisingly good detail on Rhos’s little earrings, and her very fluffy hair.

Orlan Headcanon #1
Orlans rarely contract as many diseases as most kith, this is doubly so for Wild Orlans. The hair/fur that grows on their body acts as a natural filter for many bacterias and viruses. Should an Orlan be shaved they are at risk of infection and illnesses even more.
More fun with the Dollmaker. Make all the Brambles! Hazel, Heather, Hollis, Hyacinth, and Honeysuckle.
Orlans are the smallest of the kith races, though many cultures don't consider them to be civilized at all. Also notable for their large ears, two-toned skin, and hirsute bodies, orlans are commonly found in Eir Glanfath, the Ixamitl Plains, and parts of the Dyrwood. They are known for their mental intensity and sharp senses.
