(Without a doubt one of my top fav’s, this is the story I always come back to. It is just so lovely, and heart wrenching and real, yet showing character growth and allowing second chances. I think about the toothbrushes analogy far too often. How people can cease to exist as a whole, how easily relationships are broken, be it friendships and romances, but also, how they can be mended.)

(+ sometimes I like to check out Hermione/Twins fics, and honestly everything on AO3 with Blaise or Theo (or Harry), but these are the ones that came to mind immediately)

My first love(s)

These two are the very first Dramione fic’s I ever read, back when I was fourteen years old (god, how can it be SO LONG AGO) and I didn’t have a fanfic.net account yet and had never heard about ao3 and clicked “yes I’m 18” (I now do that and feel terrible guilty for a moment before I remember that YES I AM OLDER THAN OLD ENOUGH). Anyways. I went back every day to check them out, hoping for an update (until I saw that the last time had been 2005 and it broke my heart) and I still love them so much.

The Ends of the Earth by Silverstar24, UNFINISHED, T (unfinished but still so good, like, would probably sell my soul to update, said it before, am saying it again, only kind of kidding)

“Granger,” he said softly, his voice fading. What?” she snapped. “I know where to find one of the Horcruxes.” He saw the shocked look on her face for a fleeting second before he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Simply Irresistible by bookworm1993, CHAPTERS: 30, T

Draco gave a cocky grin. “I am going to give you a makeover.” “I’m sorry what?” “You heard me Granger, I’m going to give you a makeover that will make every man want you,and make Weasley die of regret. You will be simply irresistible.”

(+ a bunch of stories from NJ Coffee Queen, but now they all seem a bit OOC to me, and once I went past that stage I never went back. Still, their story ideas are great and all complete. Worth a check out)

Introduction to Adobe Lightroom

I was asked to mentor a few students in using Adobe Lightroom today. I talked them through my process of import, edit, optimise, and export. 

Select file menu, select import photos and video option.

Select a media source; in my image above, I have selected my College USB, then my people folder.

I am then met with a screen which displays all my images from my people folder, allowing me to decide which ones I want to import

I then select the import option.

Then you select the develop tab at the top right of the screen, which allows you to optimise your imported images.

Once you have optimised an image, press your arrow key to move to the next image.

When you have finished optimising all of your images, you will need to export your images as the optimised information is just layered on top of your original image until saved properly. 

To export, you select your file menu and then export.

I imported photo from memory stick to the Adobe Bridge.

Edit - choose a photo to edit in Camera Raw.
