It's okay if you feel hurt when you get what may be considered a negative feedback, especially after all you do for others. Just try and realize if the other person's words are there to only hurt (they may be projecting on you) you or to trigger your sense of safety and worthiness (or are telling you something that you know it's true deep down, and you may need to accept it and work on it -it may take time, take all of that you need).

By the natural constitution of humans, there are bound to be occasional breakdown of functioning parts of the biological system. Demands of negotiating safely, around the nooks and crannies of the organized communities, create distress. And often enough, the mind caves in under such intense pressure. As a result, humans appear harshly remorseless.

Mostly, what the kleptomaniac steals, is of little use to him. His purpose was not exactly to economically, enrich himself. He had no purpose at all. The sufferer moves, as if in trance. He, in a manner of speaking, wakes up to the sudden presence of the things he stole. He is slowly, drenched in remorse and humiliation, over his actions.

In as much as stealing is legally defined as crime, the fact of helplessness, by which the offence is committed, completely removes kleptomania from the ranks of criminal offence. Sufferers are deeply unconscious of their actions and do not always remember, moments afterwards. The greatest response of law shall be medical, and not legal prosecution.

I know I have nothing to do with all this and so maybe someone could say “mind your own business”, but I just want to express my point of view as a person who sees the things from outside. I haven’t said anything since now because, as I said, I’m extraneous to the facts and also I didn’t want to take part in useless wars for stupid matters, but this doesn’t mean I haven’t noticed what was going on with @yesyunniechan. Let’s start from the fact that shipping real people is... well, a thing that only bored and immature and stupid people can do? Really guys, how old are you? Do you really have so much free time during the day that you need to spend it doing such silly things to kill boredom? If you want you can come to visit me and help me doing the houseworks, searching for a real job and doing more mature and serious things. On the other hand, I think Yunnie shouldn’t have given too much importance to this people from the begginning, because the more she answers to their provocations and the more they’ll continue to torment her just for fun. I can perfectly understand her anger and her willing to explain how things really are, but in the end ignorants are ignorants because they don’t understand, no matter what. Ignorants just have to be ignored: if they see nobody gives them attention, they’ll get tired of talking by themselves without receiving an answer.  As if this wasn’t enough, this morning I discovered this “translating war” thing... God knows how much I HATE this kind of things. It’s more than a year that Yunnie has started to work for the DC community and she has translated a lot of things (even requested by fans) without asking nothing in change, just respect for her work. And now how are the supposed DC fans thanking her? Shipping her with other members of Irregular Scan team and saying bad things like “the point of a translation team is giving to the fans things fast and well done”, implying that she and the rest of the staff are lazy (lazy?! Really?! They’re one of the fastest translation team I’ve ever seen!) and speak a bad English. Ok, news of the day for all the English native speaker: ENGLISH ISN’T THE ONLY LANGUAGE SPOKEN IN THE WORLD AND NOT ALL THE PEOPLE ARE BORN IN AN ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY! What a surprise! As a person who translate her DC fanfictions in English from Italian and who helps the Italian DC translation team when she can, I feel very offended by this kind of comment. Every person who translate but isn’t native speaker is perfectly aware to make mistakes during the translation, so there’s no point of being rude and criticize them: instead, if you know the language better, try to help them, so you’ll help in some way the community too. But no, of course criticize people who do something is easier than doing something too. More than one time I’ve asked for a beta reader for my fanfiction but nobody as ever offered to help me; on the other hand more than one people has told me they find mistakes in my translations. All this is... disgusting? I don’t even know how to define it. You try to do your best to contribute to a community and this is the thank you you receive back. Good. The only think this people deserve is that nobody will ever done nothing more for the fandom, either chapter translations or fanfictions or fan art or doujin translations or whatever.   Fandoms are places where people should meet other fans, discuss (in a polite and friendly way) with them about their favorite manga, help each other and make the community grow. Is it so difficult? What is the point of underline always the mistakes instead of appreciating the effort people make to give something to the fandom? Nobody is perfect, nobody will ever do a flawless work. Why am I telling all this? Because DC fandom (here on Tumblr at least) in this moment reminds me exactly of how I felt in the last period I was on One Piece EFP/forumfree Italian fandom, and I have less and less will to stay there. I don’t want to be forced to leave even DC fandom as I made with OP for the same stupid reasons, please. I was so happy when I came here 2 years ago because it was different from the shit I escaped from, so please don’t make this fandom as the One Piece one. I’m tired to see my dashboard filled with hate posts or war posts. We’re in 2017 guys and we’re supposed to be all adults, so stop with the shit.
