Correct, they can only shoot if they believe they or someone else's life is in danger. That's why some bad cops carry an extra, untraceable weapon to plant on someone they shoot illegally.

It was communists when I was a kid. Then it was radical Muslims. Then ISIS. Then Mexicans. MS13. Then any immigrant. Now we're back to communists. They have to have a boogeyman to scare the population so we don't notice the fact that they're stealing our democracy and robbing us blind.

And Saudi is where most of the 9/11 hijackers came from. But that was a long time ago, right? 😒

Humans are, mostly, not rational animals. We are rationalizing animals. Our emotions do the bulk of our decision making but, if we need to justify our actions to ourselves or others, our intellect pops in to tick off sound and logical reasons why it was a good idea, or at least not a bad one.

Still more tasteful than trump's Oval Office decor.
