Opposite Day Tom x regular Tord fluff
"Guys, look! I found another magic mirror!" Matt burst in the front door, holding a round mirror.
Edd took a sip of his cola, "Why? The last one was a bad idea too."
Tom looked up from his book, "Yeah, Edd's right. You should probably throw that away."
Tord looked up from his hentai magazine, confused as fuck, "Wait, what? Magic mirrors?"
"Yeah, the last one was us as girls."
Tord got up from the sofa, "Should we see what this one does?"
"Yes!" Matt raised his mirror above his head in excitement.
"No," both Tom and Edd said in unison and continued with their activities.
Tord and Matt shrugged their shoulders and sat on the living room floor, in front of Edd and Tom. They examined the mirror closely.
"How do you make it work?" Tord's rich accent broke the silence.
"I dunno. Last time a female version of Edd flew through one with a sword. Maybe stick your hand in it?"
Tord looked at his reflection before cautiously sticking his hand on the surface of the mirror. A rippling effect started around his hand, and it went through the mirror after a few seconds.
Tord quickly pulled his hand out, shocked at what had happened.
Matt clapped his hands together, "Yay! Me next!"
He placed his hand on the mirror, letting his hand go through it. He felt something on the other side.
"I feel something."
Tord watched intensely as Matt felt his hand around the unknown object. Matt jumped when his hand was grabbed by what felt like another hand. A cold hand.
Was it... giving him a handshake?
Matt looked up at Tord, who met his gaze, "Pull it through."
"Bad idea~" Edd sang, finishing off his can of cola and getting up to get another.
Matt nodded at Tord's command, firmly gripping the hand and slowly pulling the object through.
A head popped out. It looked like Tom, but cheerful. Then his body, and finally his legs.
"Woah! How cool was that?!" The cheerful Tom chirped.
Tom dropped the book he was reading, "What the fuck?"
He stood up from the chair, walking over to the cheerful Tom. He examined him before lifting both of his hands, "Yeah, I'm out. Text me when that thing goes away."
Tom grabbed his keys and headed out the front door, probably off to the bar.
Edd stood in the doorway of the kitchen, watching Matt and Tord examine the cheerful man.
"Who are you?" Tord walked around him in circles, taking in every detail he could possibly find.
"You know who I am, Tordy! It's me, Tom!" Tom rocked back and forth on his feet, holding his hands behind his back.
"Why are you like this, Tom?" Matt pointed towards Tom's outfit. He was wearing a blue sweater, suspenders, and jean shorts.
"Like what, Matty? I'm myself, happy as I could ever be."
Matt looked at Tord, "How do we get him back?"
Tord shrugged his shoulders, lifting his hand to poke at the blue figure rocking on his feet.
Tom giggled, turning around at Tord, "Don't do that! It tickles!"
He cheerfully wrapped his arms around Tord. Tord was taken back, slightly raising his arms, not knowing what to do. He looked over at Edd, who was watching in the doorway. He shook his head at Tord, walking out of the doorway and up to his room, "Told you guys it was a bad idea."
Tord watched Edd walk off, then back down at the small man hugging him tightly. He gently pushed him off.
"O-okay, Tom, that's enough hugging."
The normal Tom would never do such a thing. The only affection he'd get from normal Tom was a punch in the gut.
But this Tom. The Tom with them right now was being affectionate and happy as fuck. After Tord pushed him off, he went straight to Matt, giving him a bear hug.
Matt didn't care, he hugged Tom back, "Aww! Look at him Tord! Can we keep him?"
Tord violently shook his head. He didn't like this, it was too weird for him.
Everyone heard a buzzing coming from Matt. He let go of Tom, reaching into his pocket and checking his phone.
His eyes widened, "Oh my gosh! I gotta go, my grandmother needs me."
Matt ran out the door, leaving Tord and the blue ball of sugar alone.
They locked eyes, quietly staring at each other for a moment.
"Y'know, you're not like the Tordy in my world. You're more bold and... not Tordy..." Tom trailed off, not able to find the words we was looking for.
"Yeah, you're nothing like my Tom. My Tom is a dick."
Tom's eyes widened, "Tordy! Don't use foul language!"
Tord gave the smaller man a look, "Too bad. Let's figure out how to get you back to your world."
"Can we get ice cream first?"
The red hooded man picked up the mirror from the floor, "No."
He sat on the sofa, looking at the mirror.
"Maybe if we..." Tord felt a presence right beside him. He looked over and was face to face with a smiling Tom.
Tom crawled on his lap, taking the mirror from him, "Hey, look! It's us!"
Tord clutched his hands to his chest, unsure of what to do. Tom looked up at him.
"Are you okay? You're red."
Tord nodded, "Yup! I'm fine!"
He took the mirror from Tom's cold hands. He stuck his own hand in it, waving it around. Nothing was being felt, so Tord took his hand out, trying to ignore Tom bouncing on his lap and kicking his small legs.
Suddenly, a cup flew out of the mirror, hitting Tord's forehead.
"Ow! What the-?"
"Uh-oh. Matty doesn't like mirrors. I should go back home now."
Tord took his hand from his head and looked at Tom, "Wait, you knew how to get back?"
The blue man nodded cheerfully, taking the mirror from a disappointed Tord and placing it on the ground.
"You arent so bad, other world Tordy. Goodbye!" Tom kissed Tord's cheek, hoping off of his lap and back into his realm.
Tord stared forward, grazing his hand on his cheek, "Did... Did Tom just kiss me?"
"Afraid so."
Tord snapped his head to the right, seeing Edd snickering and holding up his phone. He wiped away a nonexistent tear, "Oh, I can't wait to send this to Tom."
"How long were you standing there?"
"Long enough to know he was sitting on your lap and kissing on you."
Tord blushed, giving Edd the finger. He picked up the cup that was thrown at his head, placing it on the mirror and letting it fall out of their world.
