and i’m just going to tell y’all right now, it is quite unlikely we will be saved by a teenage computer genius by the name of kady grant
I’ve gotten into audiobooks and I’ve gotten thru 3 Tamora Pierce books so far but I paused and pivoted to the Illuminae Files because I love the series it’s a 10/10 for me
And the things I’ve taken away since listening to the audiobook versions of the series (still listening to Obsidio rn)
1. Who ever does AIDEN 10/10 I know it’s suppose to be a sexless sounding machine but like I always deflated to a more masculine voice and that guy is killing it
2. AIDEN would in fact burn the world down for Kady and the fact that Syra figured that out was wild (could have been Winnifred but I’m pretty sure it was syra)
3. I loved all the various accents
4. The guy who did Travis J. Falk’s 10/10 hell yes
5. The Lexi Blue Lollipop song??? What the fuck?? I need the full audio of it released please and thank you
6. Whoever the fuck voices Duke 100/10 favorite voice so far
7. The fact that the true leaders of taking on Bei Tech is effectively just a handful of teens is absolutely hilarious
7a. Ezra being a natural in a plane. Kady being a prodigy with tech and hacking
7b. Hannah Donnelly having war games and tactical training because of her dad. Nik undeserving of the angel at his throat until he had to use the bathroom during the invasion. Ella doing what she could from her fortress of solitude
7c. Asha just wanting to save the smartest lil mouse and maybe just maybe see her cousin again. Reese and his perfect hair.

Ella Malikov you would have loved computational redstone
Isaac Grant is, like, actually the best person in the Illuminae files. His whole family's probably dead? Well he's gonna defend the families on Heimdall even when he's bleeding out. Goes out of his way to help and comfort Ella when the rest of the Mao aren't even treating her like a person. A bunch of kids on the ship have lost their family? Guess he has 4 more kids now. He's leaving them personal messages of support and telling them he's proud of them!?! Underrated character for sure, he's the best.
