I honestly think people do not understand what Ayn Rand means by Objectivism.
Basically no matter how many nice lefty ideals you have of the way the world SHOULD work, the rich people own EVERYTHING.
The nature of the world is determined by the people with power whether you like it or not.
If your lefty nonsense view of the way the world should work was true than it would be the way the world works.
The world isn't unfair you just didn't know the rules.
If you remember that Ayn Rand was a STRAIGHT woman writing a book about John Galt the ultimate super hunk. It makes sense.
Under this philosophy the bourgeious are like greek gods setting the rules with every impulsive action. The proles are just phenomnon, like a wave or a breeze. The actual subject of objectivism is the wife of the powerful bourgeious man, she is the only person who gets to philosophize and have a perspective.
Success under objectivtism is determined by the whims of men acting like dumb impulsive apes, but it is also a system where women are allowed to succeed at all.
