This is why I was very tentative when saying I’d do this lol. November is so busy, idk why it’s always the month of people doing things.

13. What You Most Like About Aromanticism

Aromanticism scared the hell out of me when I was “only ace” and didn’t understand it fully. Like I was always supportive but there’s so much inherent internalized arophobia in society that even I, a person who was raised incredibly open-minded and liberal, found it disturbing to think about as something I could possibly be. But now, even though it’s still scary for me, I love being aro and I’d say it’s the most important part about my identity at the moment, and that’s because of the community. The aro community is unlike any other I’ve seen (except the ace community, but there’s still a bit of a different ~ flavor ~ to it) and it’s so kind and accepting and informative and I relate so much with everyone here even if our experiences aren't exactly the same and yeah I just love it.

Also the flag is aesthetic as hell but let’s be real all the aspec flags are.

You aren’t less of an adult for not being married or in a committed relationship by X age. You aren’t missing some important milestone.

If you are in a relationship, it isn’t any lesser if it isn’t romantic. You and your partner(s) deserve the same respect given to other relationships.

You don’t have to highly value friendships just because many other aros find fulfillment there. Being aplatonic is a wonderful thing.

You aren’t destined for loneliness if you don’t have a long-term partner, whether that’s by choice or not.

You can have whatever kinds of relationships you want anytime in your life, and what you want and need can fluctuate at different points in your life.

There is nothing inherently wrong with having relationships while not wanting something long term.

This one's gonna be fun, also the question says bands but I'm also gonna count solo artists in this too.

Tally Hall. Marvin's Mechanical Museum is supper gokd. Also if you like tally hall check out Miracle Musical it was a band from after Tally Hal disbanded and it was made by the guitarist and the drummer.

Jack Stauber. His music is amazing and I really connect with the themes of his music mainly hating God. Pop foods my favorite of his albums and his micro pops a really well made 3-2 song albums.

Lemon Demon. Spirit Phone need I say more. Jk Spirit Phone and View-Monster are my 2 favorite albums.
