Daaamn… I love anime. For a bunch of reasons. But I think most importantly - I love villains. Especially when the villain is just… beautiful. Not in a normal sense of word. Not by their looks.
But by their beliefs. By their dedication.
Bondrewd from Made in Abyss is one of those villains. OH, I LOVE THE GUY.
You mean to tell me that when his body was almost killed, he just looked at the team of heroes and went: “AWESOME! Oh, you did so well! Congrats! I hope you guys succeed!” and died?!
I don’t know what you say but I ultimately think he won. There is a phrase ‘we’ll see who’s laughing last’ and yeah. Bondrewd was laughing. He won even after death. Why? Because never once did he seem like he regretted something. He wasn’t even having sadistic pleasure or anything. Nah! He was moving to his goal and then he was like: “Oh! Time’s out! Now it’s your turn”
