An extremely uncomfortable topic in My Fated Mate has to be the first scene.
Because as far as Orion was concerned, Soren definitely assaulted him. 100%.
And as far as Soren was concerned, Orion invaded his sanctum sanctorum when he was in a drugged/vulnerable state.
And the shitty thing is... neither is wrong? Soren (unknowingly) absolutely forced himself on Orion. Orion definitely (accidently) came to where Soren was self-quarantining so he wouldn't hurt anyone while he was out of control.
We even see that, in an unaddled state, this is a concern about which Soren is hyper aware.
Furthermore, a similar lack of control washes over Orion at some point. And he comes on to Soren, dispite the latter saying No at first. And afterward Orion also has no memory of what happened.
Hence the overarching plot: Soren wants to kill the man who took advantage of him when he was mindless. Orion wants to hide from the man who assaulted him when he was helpless.
So, when you look at these perspectives side by side... With Soren having no memory of what happened apart from feeling violated, and Orion having a very clear and unmistakable memory of being violated... I just really hope that in season 2 they address how awful this all was.
It honestly reminds me of when Lupin didn't take his calming-potion and how dangerous but also mindless he became
EDIT:
We do see near the end of season 1 that Orion now knows that Soren has no memory of/had no control over what happened.
