honestly though, watching the videos of his injuries was sort of nauseating. as i wrote in a comment on tt,

sometimes you’re famous because you’re the second overall pick and have a great career as a franchise player with the organization who drafted you and have a very…close friendship…with your teammate and best friend.

and sometimes you’re famous because you’re the second overall pick and then become a nearly shakespearean tragedy in which so many things go wrong with your head that it feels like it must be an author writing your story and using it as symbolism (and being a little too obvious about it, like it’s getting unrealistic).
