I've been reading through the numbers and events and happenings of the kings 2011-12 season for fic reasons and there's a lot of them that make me giggle

important context for this is he got 10 shut outs in this season, was a vezina finalist, and won the conn smythe - a goalie of extremes. why was he like this

also a note that when i read different analyses of this season there was a lot of discussion about how prior to the jeff carter trade the kings had troubles with goalscoring which they did. but i was expecting it to be the normal 'not shooting enough/creating enough chances' issue that teams who struggle with goalscoring have. no this was a team in their clown era (affectionate) who regularly would hit 30+ SOG and couldn't buy a goal for their troubles 😂

i genuinely do not understand how people could watch rhaenyra tell ulf that the crown owns his labor and body entirely and that he is now only an extension of the throne, imprisoned in the red keep with no autonomy or will of his own, denying him access to his friends and freedom of movement, and come out of that scene thinking that ulf is a cringe loser who needs to know his place. you people are under spells.

every single person watching the show from their living room is astronomically closer to ulf than to rhaenyra. please tell me you understand this.
