This first issue of the new “The Deadman” run for Next Level turned out to be really good. Like an 8ish out of 10. Always wanted to read something from Deadman but never got around to it until now. Might be adding it to my pull list cuz that was fun to read. Some after life, some horror, a murder and more!
Has anyone else read it?

Also, I'm glad to say that I really enjoyed Issue #1 of the new Zatanna series.
It's a solid start and I'm curious to see where it's going to go in the next few issues.
Though I gotta say, I love Zatanna's mission statement as Prime Magus! She doesn't want to redefine magic on her terms or the like, she's a woman who just loves magic and wants to guard it. Protect it. Helps that she has to contend with the Government wanting to get more involved with magic, which I think will really cool to explore come future issues.
