Landscape Language Foam (noun) – frothy buildup of bubbles Have you spotted buildups of foam along park rivers or lakes and perhaps wondered what could be polluting these waters in a national park? Well, most foam found in the park is natural! Natural foam is created when decaying leaves, plants, and other organic material creates compounds called surfactants that decrease the surface tension of the water. This makes it easier for bubbles to form when the water is disturbed, such as by a waterfall. Natural foam is usually light tan or brown, smells earthy (like decomposing plants) or fishy, and can occur in large amounts. In contrast, foam created by pollution is usually white, smells soapy or perfumed, and localized around the area of contamination.

Perhaps if he had taken that job in management this involvement would make more sense to him. He was not employed.
