hello! I'm the celeb anon. Since you said you were okay with it, what stands out the most from Jeon Jungkook's chart? He was born on September 1st, 1997 at 15:25 in Busan, South Korea.
Okay, well, the Moon with Regulus in the 9th house obviously indicates international fame. I know nothing about BTS but if this chart is right then I'm guessing this is the most famous member. Not only because of the Moon with Regulus, but the Sun with the north node adds to that. I havent seen the other members charts, but it's hard to look better than Venus in Libra in the 10th ruling the 5th, so his popularity might also be because he's very talented, creative and probably gets put as the frontman the most.
He's really pushed towards the 9th house and internationality. Mars in the 11th indicates the very competitive industry he's in, some issues and impediments with money, and can possibly also show a tricky and conflict ridden relationship with fans in a way. He's Saturn in fall in the 4th opposing Venus: he could feel like a stranger in his own home and probably likes working more. His private life may conflict a lot with his public image, and he's very different from what the public knows of him, but I'm not getting into that.
edit: okay, so I just found out the fandom is called "army" lol mars in scorpio in the 11th
ADVENT CALENDAR DAY 6
Stained-glass roundel of the Annunciation to the Shepherds made in 13th-century France. Glencairn Museum, Bryn Athyn, PA, 03.SG.240.
This 13th-century stained-glass roundel illustrates the biblical story of the Annunciation to the Shepherds (Luke 2:8–14). Here an angel with green wings and a purple cloak descends from a heavenly cloud, announcing to the shepherds that they will “find a babe wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
According to Professor Michael W. Cothren, “Medieval artists commonly used a wavy, arching band of clouds (frequently placed across the corner of a rectangular composition) to show a separation between the earthly realm below and the heavenly realm above. For example, when a disembodied hand of God emerges from heaven to command or bless a situation taking place on earth, it is often overlapped by an arching band of ‘clouds of heaven.’ Sometimes the face of God appears within the cloud band. Sometimes angels swoop down toward earth underneath or emerging from the clouds.” (“The ‘Clouds of Heaven’ Motif in Art Created for Glencairn,” Glencairn Museum News No. 1, 2021).
Every day, from December 1 through December 25, a new work of Nativity art from the Glencairn Museum collection will appear on the home page of our Advent calendar (Follow the Star: A 2021 Advent Calendar). Uneasy Nativity
The lamp illuminates your exquisite
detail, your small mouth, your clenched fist, first days
you sleep, uneven breathing, and great gifts
of crapping, burping, vomit you give us
freely. Happily, half exhausted by you –
nights are longer now and we are as fragile
as your breathing, your chest so new, so small
rises and falls and rises again except,
there is such terror in the spaces between each.
How slender and breakable you seem
makes us raw, even the air hurts us.
There’s so much danger in the smallest things,
we imagine catastrophes breaking under the enormous weight
of your infant sleep, of your unbearably small hands.

Antares, Algol and Vini Jr.
In June 2024, 3 attackers of Real Madrid's football player Vinícius Júnior were convicted of racism. In Brazil, Vini is protected by the law that provides for a sentence of 2 to 5 years in prison and a fine for racial assault/injury. Racism is specified as a serious crime that's non-bailable and imprescriptible, which means you can be tried at any time, regardless of the date on which it was committed. But this is the first time that a sentence like this had been handed down in Spain. When Real Madrid made the official anouncement, Vini spoke out and said:
Many asked me to ignore it, many others said that my struggle was in vain and that I should just "play football". But, as I have always said, I am not a victim of racism. I am the executioner of racists. This first criminal conviction in the history of Spain is not for me. It's for all black people. May the other racists be scared, ashamed and hide in the shadows. Otherwise, I'll be here to collect. Thank you to La Liga and Real Madrid for helping to bring about this historic conviction. More to come…
Statements like this that give you chills are usually delivered by either the Scorpion or Perseus. It's not a good idea to mess with either of those. Vinícius has the Moon with Antares, the heart of the Scorpion, and Saturn with Algol, Perseus' demon head. We don't have a reliable birth time for him
Vinícius has been attacked with racial slurs during several games, but these attacks specifically were on May 21, 2023, after a New Moon at 28° Taurus in the 8th house, very near Algol. The 8th house in mundane astrology has an association with crime and criminal incidents.
Real Madrid's announcement of the conviction and Vini's statement were on June 10, 2024 (possibly not the day of the conviction itself Idk). That's when Jupiter, the lord of justice, had already reached Algol, passed it and gotten into Gemini, where it meets Perseus' alpha star, Mirfak, at 1°.
Also two days later, four got arrested for making an effigy of Vinícius and hanging it from a bridge in January of this same year, which is very symbolic of Algol, but it signified their arrest. As I've made the point before, Algol is not just bad, but a protective apotropaic symbol.
Vinícius' Moon with Antares is important because it's common for Antares people to attract rivalry, persecution, or bullying. Antares (anti-Ares) is so named because it's a bright red royal star that looks like Mars, basically rivaling the red planet. But Antares is also one of the stars used by astro magicians to make talismans for protection against spiritual attacks, for banishing and binding evil spirits. So, at the same time I do often see it act in a similar way to Algol's effects of protecting from the "evil eye" or reflecting evil back upon the attacker. The idea of rivalry is constantly surrounding it. I immediately thought "that's Antares" when I saw Vínicius refusing to be seen as a victim and declaring himself the tormentor of racists. He's not the one crying, because the Scorpion does not play defense, it's a merciless forward, inside left.
hey just passing by because I have something i'm not very sure about. I'm a bit confused about what factors are necessary to consider that a planet is afflicted and the effects ot those.
I mean, I can tell it's afflicted when it's obvious, for example an aries venus in the 8th (detriment +malefic house) that only has squares or oppositions (this is not a personal placement btw, is just a random example). In this cases, ok, I got it.
BUT what if this same aries venus in the 8th has only trines/sextiles and no harsh aspects, is it still considered afflicted?
Another scenario: Aries Venus in the 8th. Let's say it has an opposition with Mars and a Square with Saturn but is trine with a domiciled Jupiter in Sagittarius and has a good aspect with the Moon. Would this Venus in this case be afflicted or not? Or what if it has only harsh aspects and ONE good aspect but the planet is aspecting is a strong one? For example, let's take away the aspect with the moon and it's only trine with the domiciled Jupiter.
Lmao another scenario. Idk, a planet in peregrine, Venus conjunct Moon in Leo the 5h. Apparently this is ok but what if that Venus and that Moon are receiving a pretty good amount of negative aspects so they, separately, are afflicted. Then this conjunction would count as a harsh aspect and not a good one, right?
Another question: afflicted Saturn and afflicted Mars are making a trine. Would this aspect, that in theory is positive, turn into negative considering the condition of the planets involved is not good and that they're two malefics? Would this cause an effect kind of like two villains allying their forces to cause disaster in your chart? Or is this aspect always positive no matter what and it's just easing the malefic effects of these planets?
lol and like this I have many more possible scenarios, but you already got the gist.
Would you say people that have charts full of afflicted planets have more difficult life circunstances or are way more complex people than the ones who don't? Or that they're more prone to express the negative traits associated to the placement? my older sister has an awful venus and a chart with tons of tense aspects however she is nowhere close to being a toxic bitch nor an awful being, actually it's quite the opposite, she's a pretty admirable character and everybody sees her as kind of a role model.
I'm sorry for the loooong ask
xoxo,
Kira🌻
First of all, the natal chart is not entirely about a person's character. Astrology is not a type of "astropsychology", the natal chart shows a person's life, and bad things happen to good people (and vice-versa).
And about your question, it's a matter of nuance. It seems like you're having a hard time not seeing things as just black or white. People have complicated lives, sometimes there's good and bad things about parts of our lives.
The thing about this is that different astrologers will tell you different things. I find it better to study one author and try to apply the things he teaches and then see for myself how much of his techniques I think I could work with. In my opinion, aspects don't mean good or bad things, they show the type of dynamic between two planets or more. At least that's how I personally see it. Trines are easy aspects, makes the actions of the two planets always be in agreement or in support of each other, but whether this is subjectively good, that depends.
But you also seem stuck on abstraction, because when things get complicated with the technical side, you only need to ask the person you're reading for to make sense of it. What kind of money problems does this hypothetical person with Aries Venus in the 8th has? What kind of losses they had in their life? Maybe they suck at managing their own money but had help from family or had a good inheritance with that Jupiter in the 4th. But an astrologer has to listen to the person's context, no natal chart makes sense without a real person attached to it.
Since I've been studying Angelina Jolie's chart on my Patreon, I'll use her as an example:
Saturn in Cancer on the ascendant sounds pretty bad, huh? But for Hellenistic astrology for example, angularity means a lot more than sign dignity sometimes. Her Saturn is the first triplicty ruler of her sect light, that planet being angular means good material support from the beginning. Because the triplicity lords of the sect light have a role of assisting in the management of life.¹ Just for the fact that it's angular, it already garantees a good start in a wealthy family.
But well, we see how complicated this malefic is. It's Saturn in Cancer in the 1st, on her body, ruling the 8th house, "afflicting" Venus, with a harsh and inferior aspect with Mars. But then, Jupiter also makes an aspect with it, and it's very tight in a superior position, remeding Saturn's influence. And Venus' influence on Saturn is also pretty strong and benefic as the ruler of the Lot of Fortune and 11th house.
This basically makes me think of her family history with cancer and her prevention treatment. Her risks were very high, she lost the women in her family, she had to have surgeries to remove breasts and ovaries, got a premature menopouse because of that and has to do hormone replacement therapy, but she's perfectly alive and healthy despite odds and she was still able to become a mother of 6 children.
