Saskatchewan Pool Elevator, Glaslyn, 2006.
The upper photo looked so familiar, but retracing my trips to SK, I find no evidence I have been in Chamberlain. That said, the old grain elevators are very similar village to village. In 2006 Glaslyn still had an active rail line allowing grain to be loaded for shipment, while I suspect the gravel road in Chamberlain is the right-of-way of a rail line now abandoned. Like many such elevators on abandoned rail lines, it is likely to be demolished or left to collapse now that grain is primarily shipped by trucks and gathered at larger terminals for rail shipment.
