After the events of last time's crossover, D-16 barely managed to score a 18 on his politeness saving throw (yes I actually rolled for it and yes he has a +2 "I am a kiss-aft" modifier) to score that intense tea party

And it would go like this:

Taking four whole ass demons and himself through the Honmoon and into the human world exclusively on strength of spirit took more than expected. 

Honommon seems to actually like him. Jinu gets the impression he’s been like…a Labubu to it. An useless accesory that is kind of cursed looking but cute. Sure. Jinu can stay. Its kinda funny to have him here.  He feels how the Honmoon helps him along its strands, indulging him. 

Breaching the barrier between realms with the last of his strength, he dumps his barely conscious and nauseous bandmates on the floor in a (mostly) gentle way. 

He rings the digital doorbell. 

The doorman somewhere inside the building leaned into the microphone and his voice came through the speaker. 

 -“Hello, state your name and your business please” 

“Hi, this is Jinu from the Saja Boys. We were wondering if there was a way we could talk to the Huntrix girls” 

  -“Are you expected?” 

“Not exactly, there are some things we have to talk about and we found ourselves…unexpectedly free today. We figured it was worth a shot asking if they are available” 

 -“Young man, if you boys are really the Saja boys why on earth don’t you call….”

-“Look, our management took our phones. And our cards. We are not actually supposed to be here right now and we don’t know how much time we have. Please can you just ask? “

-“….”

 -“…..if they don’t let you through I can do nothing kid, you get that, right?” 

-“Yeah…I understand. Thank you” 

-----

At the very top of the same building, the door comm rang out, interrupting the post-lunch couch time of the three girls. 

All three groaned at the prospect of getting up. 

- "Rock paper scissors! Loser goes" said Zoey. 

Rumi stood up sluggishly 

-“It's fine,**small burp** I’ll go” 

She pressed the button to the comms. 

-Hey Stevie, Rumi here, what’s up? 

-Miss Rumi, there is a group of people claiming to be the Saja Boys looking to see you. 

   -The Saja Boys?? That’s impossi-

Her eyes caught on the door’s security feed. Jinu’s annoyingly perfect face filled up most of it. There were people crumpled on the floor behind him. She could see Abby gingerly sitting up, flickering between his demon form and the glamour, with a face like he was nauseous. 

-“Oh my god….” 

-"What is it ‘Umi?"

-Yeah who’s at the door.

 -Stevie, I'm taking over the comms now. Thanks so much.

-Anytime miss. 

-Girls you need to come look at this. NOW.

Zoey and Mira shot up from the sofa and leaped over to her, crowding  around Rumi to peer into the screen. The warmth of their presence grounding her.

She pressed another button.

 -Jinu???

-Rumi! Thank god! Hi!…uhm…surprise?? -[Jinu you son of a bitch why did you bring us here they are going to kill us again]

-[Dude you should just have left us there to die, we are so dead here]

- You died! 

-[Guys shut up!] It didn’t stick, listen. Is there a way we could come up? Or just move us somewhere safer? Because getting us here took a lot out of me and the guys are…losing control of their looks.

-HOLY SHIT THATS JINU

- How did they survive?? 

-Girls, they...they are here and they they..

The three girls stared at the screen in shock. Mira recovered the fastest. 

-Well, I think I speak for all of us when I say what the fuck? 

The comms rang out again: 

-Rumi, please we need help here, I know it's a lot to process but I promise that we mean no harm.

-I know this is a huge favour to ask but I did some things previously considered impossible to get them out of the demon realm and we really need a safe place right now. 

-Please, I have literally no one else to turn to but you and your friends. 

Rumi was trembling, looking at Zoey and Mira

-"I-I I don’t know how this is happening. I-I- really think this is for real but I totally  agree that it might be a trap and that ,whatever we decide to do, we should decide toge-"

Zoey´s finger zoomed out to press the button

-"Hi Jinu! Zoey here!  We´ll be right down! “

-"Zoey, oh my god, let Rumi finish the phrase." drawled Mira 

-" Whaat, I didn't want her to keep tangling herself up in worries! Come on, we have to go down!"

-"Wait what"

-"Well it's simple Unnie! We can´t let them be like that on the street for long or someone is going to take a photo of them. And this is heeellla weird bUT if it's true we can help and if it's a trap we just fight them again!"

-"Zoey is right, said Mira, taking Rumi by the arm and pulling her to the elevator. And while I may not trust the Saja boys…I do trust you Rumi. And I GUESS Jinu DID die protecting you, so he gets the benefit of the doubt." 

-"Oh Totally"said Zoey pressing the elevator button. "Besides! What's the worst that could happen!" --------------------------------------------------------------------------

-"HOW ARE YOU THIS HEAVY?! YOUR LEGS ARE LIKE KEBAB STICKS!"

-"Please dont throw up on me, Please dont throw up on me, Please don´t throw up on me. Come on, that's it, one foot in front of the other. Baby steps. waitthatsactuallyhilarious" 

-"Abby. Abby. You need to stay conscious. Abby. Come on! You weigh over 85 kilos, no one can carry you on their back. Just a few steps into the elevator, okay? Come on!. Lean on my shoulder, that's it! Good!

- "Mystery, dude. You need to hold on with your legs, you are falling off and taking my pants with you oh gooooodRumihelpmeplease I can´t move without losing my pants."

- "I'm a little busy here! Abby goes down and we have to DRAG HIM IN in FULL VIEW of STEVE"

-"who the hell is Steve?"

-"Our security guard!!"

-"ohmygod i´ll summon my gok-do as a crutch, hold on" * Mira kneels to push Romance, who she previously held in a fireman's carry, to the floor.* "I swear if someone gets a photo of us struggling to peel the Saja Boys off our doorstep we are never hearing the end of it"

A door opened down the hall. Everyone froze at the approaching steps. Jinu whispered to frantically

-Guys please try to look human this is important.

Thankfully, even half concious, all the Saja boys managed to inch back their patterns just in time.

Stevie the doorman (who was actually an imposing looking security guard) had emerged from the security control room that doubled as a reception desk further down the entry hall and came out to meet them at the open door way. 

-"Misses, may I help you get your guests off the ground and into the building?" 

There was a moment of panicked dead silence.

-"...yes please, Stevie, thank you. Please grab Mystery so Jinu can finally pull his pants up. Can you come up with us in the elevator? It might be the simplest way".  

-"Right away, Miss Zoey. You and Miss Rumi go ahead to the elevator with your guests. Miss Mira, can I help you lift the young pink gentleman?"

- "No Stevie, it's fine" said Mira with a smile, smoothly pulling Romance back into a fireman's carry and standing up "I got this"

- "You do indeed, Miss.  Now, Mr Mystery, I will pull you over my shoulder now okay?" 

-"mmkay"

Pullling Mystery over his shoulder easily, Stevie ushered  Jinu and his pants in before finally closing the door. 

As they crossed the hall to join everyone in the elevator, Stevie held Jinu back for a moment to speak to him. His tone was stern and serious. 

-"Young man, I don't know what brings you boys running here in such a state, but I want to make two things very clear. First, I´d like to make it very clear that the safety of those girls in this building is my responsibility and that I will get my team to kick you back onto that street should you even start an attempt to become a nuisance to the young ladies."

-"Yes sir, understood sir." said Jinu, who was finally hit with the exhaustion of everything after going into Rumi's sword at the Idol Awards, tried to bow politely and made himself so dizzy he almost fell over. 

The bodyguard steadied him with his free arm, still holding on to Mystery, who was doing the best imitation of a sack of potatoes he had ever managed.

-"Is this how other companies treat their idols? This is shameful. Hold on to me, son."

 Like that, they got into the elevator for a swift, slightly awkward, mercifully Baby's vomit free, ride to the penthouse. 

After helping Rumi, Zoey and Mira settle the boys on the couch, Stevie (who had first aid training) asked permission to check the boys´ vitals. After doing so, he said to the girls 

-”Their pulse is good, and their eyes react to light properly. They seem exhausted, hungry and dehydrated. The just seem to need proper food and rest, but I would suggest arranging for a doctor to look at them sooner rather than later, just to make sure everything is okay.”

-"Okay, we'll get right on that Stevie, thanks so much. We´ll take it from here and call you if anything happens. Thank you so much" said Rumi

-"Anytime miss. Excuse me"

As he turned to leave, Jinu called out

-"Wait! You said you had two things to say. What was the other one? "

-"Ah yes. Well… By your leave, Misses, I wanted to make clear to our guests that, just as they will be removed if they become a nuisance to the young ladies, that no one can touch them while they are in here. You are guests, and you will be protected as such, so you can rest easy.  No one will be allowed to come in and be a nuisance to you or make you leave before you wish."

-"....Thank you, we appreciate that". Said Jinu, touched.

With that, Steve the bodyguard got into the elevator and went back to his post

They all sat in silence, dazed and bewildered by the situation.

Jinu spoke into the silence

-"Your doorman is the nicest person ever". 

-"Oh yeah"

-"Stevie is the best!"

the first date you guys ever went on was to a coffee shop.

did shoyo drink coffee? no. was he already in too deep to say no when you suggested a new coffee shop you wanted to try? absolutely.

shoyo memorized your coffee order the very first time.

years later, when he's the first to get up on friday mornings, after his morning run and before leaving for practice, he stops by the cafe you love and picks up that exact order. he never gets anything for himself (lord knows he does not need that boost), but he always makes it home just in time for you to wake up while the drink is still fresh.

you hear him open the door and step into the apartment just as you're waking up. you blink sleepily at him as he comes in, a smile on his face.

he walks to your side of the bed, and your eyes flutter close when he leans over and presses a kiss to your lips.

"morning, sleepyhead," you can hear the sunshine in his voice even as your eyes remain shut with sleep. you open them just in time to see him hold up the familiar cup. "brought your usual."

the smile on your face is sleepy and soft and filled with so much love. you don't sit up as you put your arms up and tug him down into a hug. he laughs as he bends over, wrapping his arms around you. your eyes close again of their own accord, the scent of him filling your lungs.

your words come out muffled as you put your face into his hair, appreciating the scent of his shampoo. "love you, sho"

"love you more," he laughs as he tries to wiggle out of your grasp, but your arms remain firm. "but, baby, i gotta get up! i gotta shower before practice—damn, your grip is strong!"

it's a silent second before you reluctantly release him. your arms fall back against the sheets as you blink up at him sleepily.

"can't believe you're leaving me like this...all alone...in this big empty bed..." you sighed dramatically, throwing a hand over your eyes to add to the effect.

shoyo, being used to your dramatics (this was a daily occurrence), bit back a smile. "yeah, yeah, i'm terrible, horrible, blah-blah-blah."

he couldn't restrain it for too long, though, as a big grin overtook his face. you mirrored him, happy to be the one to draw it from him. sitting up, you reached over to where he had set the drink on the nightstand and took a sip.

"god, i love you." you took another sip, sighing happily as you closed your eyes. "this is so good."

he beamed, proud to have been of service. he turned to walk away and head to the bathroom, but he didn't make it very far before you gently grabbed his hand. he turned back around to face you, curious as to why he was pulled closer.

"hm?"

you pulled him down to meet you face to face before planting a kiss on his cheek. you pulled back with a smile. "thank you, sho."

he stood there for a second, soaking up the moment. he felt his face heat up as he attempted to blink back to normalcy, focusing on your bright, soft smile.

"anytime."

smiling back, he felt you squeeze his hand before letting go. he turned around before he did anything he knew he shouldn't—like skip practice and spend the whole morning with you.

his back was turned to you, but you could still see the blush kissing his ears, his neck. and he didn't necessarily try to hide it, either.

all these years of being together, loving you, and you still made him beam like a schoolboy.
