nat i was saving this for when the asks started to trickle out and i wanted to post it last, but i do wanna post it now because i think it’s so freaking sweet of you. “whatever they may be to each other doesn’t matter because they get to be in each other’s lives and they mean so much to one another and that’s what’s so lovely about seeing them together.” you fucking nailed it 🩷🩷🩷

i know we all know this but i would just like to reiterate that we will never 100% know them or know for sure what’s between them, even the things we see in interviews are just different filtered versions of them. but i do genuinely think there’s something to be said about their chemistry and their bond and the way they openly love each other — dearly, as hudson says :’) it’s really fun and frankly beautiful that everyone has their different moments that made them go “oh… they have something different.” but whatever nebulous, inexplicable connection they’ve formed, it is theirs, and we just get to witness a fraction of it. and it’s just the cherry on top that we get to watch that magic reform itself in the love between shane and ilya onscreen.
