Now that's it the new year, it's time to round back to old ties... Catching up can be difficult when you realize how different your old friends seem after growing on your own (or maybe you're anxious over how you forgot how much they love to gossip.)

It's nearly the end of summer, but the fun's just beginning! Anybody remember going to county fairs and eating lots of sticky funnel cakes on sticky plates and those cheap bead filled stuffed toys that got dirty sitting in your room and how everything smelled like popcorn, bbq, and grass?

Recently got a new switch and now I'm finally making my dream perma island modeled after Gardendale! I'll be sure to share a dream address soon but at the moment I don't even have any stair cases...

I started exploring some of my earlier concepts for my comics/weird looking characters, and tried back tracking to see what I had among my older ideas... I discovered that Clementine Sunshine, Annabelle's and Victoria's bubbly love bird friend was also a mallard, a songbird, a toucan, and even a flamingo at some point before I decided on a budgie... and then changed my mind again. It's been pretty fun looking at how my ideas have changed and even more so how I reinterpreted them now versus how I did in their younger phases!

Bobbing for apples is a common way to elevate autumnal holidays and seasonal activities... But if you don't happen to grow apples and maybe have an abundance of spooky ghost peppers, a country girl must simply make due! Have a SPICY Halloween, everyone!
