Planet Seep is known for its mutagenic plankton. However, the Gathershrimps (or simply, the Gatherers) are immune to its effect, and actively seek out its sources to create new kinds of fruits of the sea. And vegetables.

Recent Acquisition - Flying Wheel Postcard Collection
Exceedingly unpopular and available in great quantities at the "Baby Gruenwald: Forever is a Long Time" gift shop, a vintage postcard of Fort Mondish Dam on the Missouri River in S. Dakota as a rogue “flying wheel” gobbles up raw electricity from the power house along with fish such as bluegill, walleye, catfish, crappie and perch.
Before gyring away to the east over Mt. Carthage, the outlaw wheel would expel 97000 tons of mutagenic waste (about the weight of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier), altering the DNA of the local populace in such a way as to give them the ability to predict upcoming fashion trends, but none of the sense to capitalize on the knowledge.

A REVIEW STUDY ON BIOLOGICAL ILL EFFECTS AND HEALTH HAZARDS OF AFLATOXINS | Asian Journal of Advances in Medical Science
Aflatoxins are a group of secondary metabolites which are acutely toxic to warm blooded animals, including humans, developed primarily by Aspergillus flavus and also by Aspergillus parasiticus. Species of Aspergillus producing Aflatoxin are very common and widespread in nature. Before harvest or during storage, they may colonize and contaminate crops. Host crops are especially susceptible to Aspergillus infection following prolonged exposure to an atmosphere of high humidity. The high moisture content and high temperature are other desirable conditions. Aflatoxins are present in a wide variety of products, including cereals, pulses, oilseeds, spices, and dried fruits. Aflatoxins from a variety of edible substances such as cereals, oil seeds, spices, vegetables, dried fruits, pulses, areca nuts, coco and fast foods have been recorded in India. The aflatoxins were the subject of intensive research when outbreaks of disease called "Turkey X' disease" occurred in Poultry in the United Kingdom during 1960. The aflatoxin problem has been an economic burden for the food crops, livestock and poultry industry since the start of mycotoxin research. Aflatoxins are acutely toxic in rats and other laboratory animals, being carcinogenic, mutagenic and teratogenic, but there has always been concern about food contamination with aflatoxins and the danger to both human and animal health. Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, G2 and M1 are of key concern. Aflatoxin M1 is the most commonly occurring aflatoxin hydroxylated metabolite of B1. Additionally, aflatoxin B1 is one of the most active known hepato-carcinogens, so dietary aflatoxin levels are an important factor for human health. Therefore, in order to reduce the deleterious effects of these mycotoxins, it is necessary to put in place effective cheap and secure control steps. The goal of this review study was to investigate the biological adverse effects of these aflatoxins and their health hazards.
