As i sit back a realise that everything does come to an end. Everyone and everything will die.
It scares me. To know I will meet my Lord with little deeds and mountain's of bad ones. That at anytime my Lord will send the command for my soul and I will not be able to return. Everytime i sit with my children, one day they will be motherless. Everytime i sit with my husband, one day he will be wife-less. And my body will just be in the ground. Rotting.
Some people are not scared of death. I'm not scared of actually dying. I'm scared of what I will die upon. Will my Lord me pleased with me when I do die?
I ask Allah swt, To forgive all our sins. And only take our souls when He swt knows we will enter Jannah al-A'la with the mercy of Him swt. I ask Allah swt, to make our questions in the grave easy and to make our graves spacious with Noor. I ask Allah swt, to always remind us that we will not be here forever. And to make it worth it. Allahumma ameen ya Rabb.
