I'm struggling to understand why nuns are overly sexualised to the point where it's massively accepted nowadays and even praised when done so, I rarely see anybody talk negatively about it, it feels.. wrong. surely I'm not the only one who feels this? I'm not christian nor am I catholic but this has bothered me for a while. is the drive for it "taboo" ? is that why people like it? or religion? I'm curious. I would prefer input from those practising the religion and not outsiders, thanks.

I left something out a few days ago on my Our Lady of Akita post because I didn't discover it until laster. I did a little more research about a day later because I was curious what Sister Agnes was up to. I'm sad to report that the visionary Sister Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa passed away on August 15 (Feast of the Assumption of Mary), 2024. I know that this is nearly two years late, but: Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and those of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
