it's hilarious how kaldheim contained - a mono-green legendary creature which is the only card in the set that refers to poison counters - a mono-green legendary creature which is the only Phyrexian in the set (and also the first creature ever printed with the Phyrexian type) and these are two different cards
Changelings of Littjara
So I really love Kaldheim and the stuff associated with the Magic: the Gathering expansion, Kaldheim.
That being said, there's a bunch of changelings in Magic that aren't flavoured with Kaldheim's brand of changelings and I wanted to try my hand at changing that, so this post will collect a series of doodles that I did over the past 5 days, that involve these changelings from Lorwyn and Modern Horizons reflavoured to match the Changelings of Littjara.

The Lore of Kaldheim: Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider
“Vorinclex is a praetor of New Phyrexia. He despises the concept of sentience and wants the multiverse to operate solely on the roles of predator and prey—survival of the fittest for all. When Elesh Norn gained the upper hand on the other praetors, she knew Vorinclex would be the easiest to influence, as his desires were the basest of the praetors.
Why Vorinclex arrived in Kaldheim is currently unknown, but the purposes are certainly nefarious. The method he used to travel between planes is also a mystery. Vorinclex's organic parts were destroyed in the journey, leaving only metal and bone. An inquisitive stag sniffing around his remains was enough raw material to begin crafting a new body, and Vorinclex slowly made his way up the forest food chain until he had created a form he found satisfactory.”
