Name meaning: "God's Gift". (I chose to read it more as a gift giver, rather than the gift herself)

Her character inspiration is Rosemary from Rosemary's Baby and Annie Graham from Hereditary. (Though definitely an inverted and twisted version. Lacking any of the maternal love evident in these characters)

I wanted to explore what someone in their situation would be like, as a willing participant. Well, as willing as you can be in her position and within her circumstances.

Bartered by elders because of her hair and complexion, Siobhan was taken from the Dunsirn estate as a young woman to be the 'wife' of Joseph Hutter.

You can imagine how that went.

Every night she dreamed of going back home. Unaware that those Scottish hills would hardly be any greener than the dreary forests of Forks.

Her motivation, in the end, is clear. She'd go to many lengths to prove her loyalty to her family.
