had my first MR scan and it honestly wasn't so bad! The machine was loud but almost kind of calming in the white noise way? Getting the needle put in wasn't too bad and that's speaking as someone with deep veins that like to hide and roll away, and the contrast fluid injection only stung a little! The woman who was scanning me was very kind and kept me well prepared and informed the whole way. I'm not exactly happy that I have to do this every year from now on until I get my breasts removed (yay genetic defects..) but I'm more at peace with it now that I've been through it and seen what it's like.
If anyone else is in a similar situation, I hope my post can maybe bring you a little comfort! Don't worry, everything is gonna be alright :)
