A bit nervous to post them since they're very close to my heart, but I finally made references for some of my oldest characters and wanted to share them here! These are my interpretations of the titans from greek mythology (+ Gaia and Ouranos), which are part of my story called Mount Othrys. They haven't actually changed much from when I first designed them 11 years ago - though I have had to make so many changes to the family tree (greek mythology is...weird like that) lmao.

I had a ton of fun translating their old designs to my art style nowadays!

PLUS the outskirts are literally the SAME. cypress trees, dry ass hills with shrubbery, a highway and some farms: do you know which place i was describing? no, you dont, bc that description fits both perfectly. the road from athens to delphi looks the exact same as the road from san francisco to tomales bay. its insane!?!?! literally just replace san francisco's cement curbs with marble ones, then add a shit ton of cats and ancient ruins and you have athens.

Was Luke like: “fuck all this, I'm not gonna hold it again” or how?..

Alabaster: I was there. We weren’t “chilling”, we were starting a war.

so @arrtemiss & @virtuestars & I decided to combine all our interests into one to make a story: cyberpunk & greek mythology, and we added in small details of other deities to make it cool, so here it is:

• cars are called Coeus

• school is called “Metis’ School for the Brightest Minds”

• Declan (Dionysus)’s twin brother was Zachary (Zagreus) (kudos if you know the story I’m talking about)

• the famous dancing & singing band in the city are the Korybantes 

• martial arts group in the school are the Amazons (their captain is Penni/Penthesilea & Gargareans

• their mascot is the Hydra

• their school object is the Golden Fleece

• the corporation in charge of placing oxygen filtration systems & lights around the city is Eryphaessa Corps (kind of a pun because of who Theia is)

• the city is called Othrys (because all the Titans are in charge of this city, so we thought it would be cool to name it after Mount Othrys)

Since Hyperion is the titan of sun and light and fire, his children are also quite capable of controlling and producing their light and fire.
