When going to Temple of the Sea became Mission Impossible
"Damn it...I missed them." Murmured Krystallos in his mortal disguise, his mind plagued with worry, a bit of bewilderment mixed with annoyance in a potent cocktail. "Even mortals are not safe from Star's jealousy...I don't even want to look at the docks at this point." To his dismay, all the boats had been sunk when azure eyes landed on the exact location. Exhaling disappointment through his nostrils like a bitter winter storm, the ice king looked up to the sky, the blue turning into orange, pink, and violet hues, wondering, "What am I going to do with that Sea God?"
Rubbing his temples, the titan disguised mortal began to think about how to reach Starseidon...Only there is a problem, and a big one at that. Krystallos doesn't know where Starseidon's temple is. Well, at least not yet anyway. Turning on his heels, Krystallos walked in the direction of the palace, hoping to speak to the one person who knows where the location of the temple is. King Telemachus of Ithaca...
(At the palace of Ithaca.)
"The palace is more impressive in person." The disguised Titan commented, seeing the palace that had been built by this dimension's Odysseus, and it was marvelous. Even though he has been inside the palace in his own dimension (The ice king was mistaken as a suitor once in his human disguise. Guess how it went when everything was cleared up XD). "Ody...old friend, you never cease to amaze me." A gentle breeze ran through the deep chocolate with burgundy locks as treasured memories came, giving Krystallos a reason to smile fondly.
However, sky-blue eyes turned back into glacial ice and widened as the ice king picked up five extremely powerful auras coming from inside the palace. "So that's where they are...Wait, why is the father of monsters here and not the titan of the east?" Confusion etched itself across Krystallos' face as the thoughts came to mind. As far as the ice king knows about his adoptive family, Typhon is not a part of it or even a titan...Hyperion is. "Is Uncle Hyperion still in Tartarus?!" A suppressed chuckle escaped Krystallos as he thought about it. "Good. Stay in there....Fewer problems for me."
"Excuse me, sir, but...You've been standing out here for a long time now. I had to ask the guards that I would handle it." A voice said, ripping the disguised titan out of his thoughts.
"Apologies, I didn't mean to stand in front of the palace for so long. I was just admiring the architecture and wondering if I could meet King Telemachus about something very important." The honest voice of the titan disguised mortal flowed like a gentle stream from a fresh glacier spring.
"Oh?" The voice asked in surprise, "What could be so important that you would want to meet with me?"
"Hmm?" Krystallos' eyebrow was raised as he turned his head quickly, seeing that he was in fact speaking with the current king of Ithaca. "Your majesty." Surprise and relief flooded the ice king's body as he bowed in respect. As he rose, however, the sky-blue eyes locked on the indigo trident tattoo on Telemachus' left shoulder. In that moment, the disguised titan's self-control was tested as the thoughts flooded the mind. "What the hell, Star?! Again!!!! How much must the son of my old friend suffer to satisfy your vengeance?!!!! I swear, when I get my hands on you, your children will have more siblings and your legs will cease to function." At this point, Krystallos did not give a damn about what his thoughts were saying, while his eyes gave way to a silent fury that could freeze the entire earth if the ice king allowed himself to rampage in that manner.
Deeply exhaling, Krystallos slowly relaxed and opened his eyes, seeing the octopus mind entity once more, but it looked mortified and confused for some reason. Telemachus, on the other hand, was red in the face. "I never thought that someone would see Lord Starseidon in that manner." The king whispered softly in a flustered confusion.
Desdemona was on the ground looking at the sky, shouting, "What has the world come to????!!!! I thought you hated ALL Titans, Lord Starseidon???!! What changed!" It seems that the mind entity cannot comprehend what it just heard from the Ice King's mind. This might be the opportunity the ice king needed...Plus, what Telemachus and Desdemona are now having a spat over kind of made him chuckle a bit..About the part "Titans are not real or are in Tartarus, locked away." It reminded him of the time when he watched Evren and Luna, and they bickered over something silly...But even then, someone has to be the voice of reason.
"Excuse me," Krystallos said with a voice of humility. "But King Telemachus and I need to discuss something important regarding Lord Starseidon."
"Please, what could be so important to talk about-" Desdemona was cut off before finishing the direct sentence with the most disrespectful tone in existence.
"Come with me to my study, we can talk there." The King said curtly as he began to walk inside the palace doors with a fuming mind entity on his shoulder in mini form as the disguised titan followed after...It seems that Desdemona didn't like the fact that Telemachus not only cut him off but also ignored him.
"I never asked you for your name." The king said as the duo continued walking to the study. Passing corridors, maids, servants, and guards of the palace with ease, even though they were curious about the person who was walking with their king.
"It's Eleutheros, your majesty." The ice king said, voice steady as the rain falls in spring, as it also has truth to it.
(Meanwhile, in the palace courtyard, with no one passing by.)
"Koios, Koios!!" The annoyed voice of Kronos in his mortal disguise huffed while shaking his second in command from the trance he was in. "You've been spacing out for a while now, and I can't have that."
"Forgive me, my lord." The disguised Titan of foresight apologized; however, his focus seemed to be disrupted. And everyone there knows it.
"Give the man a break, Kronos..." Typhon, the father of monsters, weighed in while sitting under a tree. "He's been doing most of the heavy lifting around here, and the plan is coming together. I think a bit of rest will be good to take off whatever is on his mind...Iapetus and Crius agree, don't you?"
When hearing their names, both titan os the south and west nodded, which was enough to make the titan of time relent as much as he hated it.
"Fine, but no more than five minutes...." Hearing those words, Koios got up and went straight inside. Leaving the four that were left in the courtyard in confusion.
"That aura I just felt moments ago.." The inner mind of Koios relented while walking through palace corridors. "It felt like...No, that's impossible..." A cold yet psychotic smile appeared. "A son who is a traitor to his own kind...My son..."
To be continued....
This was a doozy, but it is going to be Mission Impossible here on out. It was easy to get into the palace, but getting out is the hard part...Especially when the version of a father who thought you died by his hand feels your aura and finds out that he is your dad (Even though Krystallos is adopted)....Should have thought of that before getting pissed at Star >:^
