Honestly this is probably my most ambitious illustration in a very long time and back then I really couldn't pull any of that of which lead to a loooot of pain and frustration, so I'm all the happier with how it came together. It was challenging, not only the atmosphere and painting itself but also the composition (tbf, the image of it I had in my head was pretty nebulous aside from Chev, and even so I wasn't even sure whether I wanted a high or low angle).

I think the chaotic stacking of everything and everyone without a logical architecture or perspective makes it effective.

Doing that theatre spotlight effect at the back with all the silhouettes blending into each other was really fun too. However, I hated making the header, lol.
