i am offering two portraits, one for donors to Hillel on the Derech (offer post here) and one for donors to the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (offer post here)! i've added some portrait examples to this post - for this event i'm happy to draw pokemon, stardew valley, fallout, elder scrolls and agatha christie's poirot for the winning bidder!

Imagine it! With his hair up, as intended by established hat etiquette, we would have gotten to see his scandalously pretty uncovered neck! Just right there on display, for all to see!

Naturally, I include Lan Xichen in "we".

Imagine it!

Lan Xichen, wistfully thinking about when he was the only one who got to lay eyes on that pale neck. Lan Xichen's gaze getting caught on the soft little hairs at the nape of Jin Guangyao's neck, trying to escape from their up-do. Oh, the longing to reach out and tuck them back in place! The impossibility! The impropriety of such thoughts!

He would 100% develop an entire fetish about it.

//I love this paragraph so much because it shows how Daniel is a weird, morbid, twisted guy and he loves Armand for exactly the monster he is, rather than being blinded to his nature by his beauty or something. Which is why I think Armand and Daniel, for all of their problems, have something real: Daniel has always seen through his masks and his appearance and still been fascinated by the creature beneath the shiny veneer.
