I tried a new coloring technique, but I still ended up with a picture of a jealous Merlin π§ββοΈ

Will you draw any more of the Greek gods?
Most likely, yes. But I don't know when or how soon. However, I really love Greek mythology, and I always have the urge to draw something else based on it
Your art is BEAUTIFUL. You draw Merlin especially well. Any tips? If o draw him it either feels like a caricature or like itβs not him at all π
Thanks a lot!
I can offer a few tips, though I apologize in advance for my English.
First, I like to define Arthur and Merlin using geometric shapes: Arthur is more of a squareβhe has a square face, broad shoulders, and a generally stockier buildβwhereas Merlin is more of a rectangle: he is tall and thin, and his face is quite elongated. These proportions hold true even when the physique is more muscular. As for the face, itβs best to highlight the most striking features; in my opinion, the first things that stand out about Merlinβs appearance are his elongated, wide-set eyes, prominent cheekbones, and, of course, his large ears. Also, the eyesβspecifically their shape and placementβalong with the nose, are crucial for capturing a likeness. Overall, the most important thing is to focus on the proportions of all the facial features first.
I hope this helps! β€οΈ

Today I'm enjoying some Merlin sketches in school AU. There could have been some Arthur sketches too, but I decided to go to bed early π
Iβm slowly forgetting your face
