Welcome to my blog filled with lots of struggles, love and no life hacks because I’m a first time mom and have no idea what I’m doing. I’m going to start by saying that I’m mad “mediocremom” username was taken and because I’m REALLY feeling it I had to add 01. Who knows; maybe when I’m feeling frisky I’ll change it to something more unique. ANYWAYS. My son will be 10 weeks on Thursday and it’s mind blowing how much I can love someone in such a short amount of time. Literally the second he came out I got an overpowering feeling of “mine” and became super obsessive. Also I welcomed an overpowering feeling of anxiety... hello motherhood and hello postpartum anxiety. I apologize in advance for my horrid spelling and/or grammatical mistakes. I’m only human and I’m a very tired mom, who is currently doing this solo as my husband is deployed for the next year. I hope this little blog finds someone and knows they aren’t alone. This blog is going to be my outlet.. so sit back, grab some snacks and enjoy

Day 38 of the shut down. Jeesh, why did i think it was day 1874983428?Anyway, according to my google search i’m supposed to start off my new blog life by introducing myself. (Yes, i totally googled “how to write your first blog”.) and then it wants me to tell you “my voice” in which i haven’t quite figured out yet. Also i should add images and or videos and other things to grab readers attention. Followed up with keeping it short and sweet as not to bore you causing you to leave my page never to return.
So with that being said, my name is most commonly “Mom” or “Babe” occasionally Courtney. I’m a 30 year old mom to a 11 year old autistic boy and pregnant with my second coming in strong at 12 weeks. Today I literally fell asleep during our Covid homeschooling GO ME. Big shout out thank you to my SO for taking over. #livingthatperfectmomlife My sons education is #1 to me don’t get me wrong, but these days sitting home in a stay at home order are something else. Sooo happy to add morning sickness, fatigue, seasonal allergies and getting a new unpaid job as a teacher to a middle schooler (shout out to all the teachers out there!!) also trapped bored in the house with my lovely SO who i typically adore except for the last 30 of 38 days. Totally exaggerated but you get it, your doing it too, and it definitely is not easy.
I guess in staying to true how i’m feeling ill be blogging about being a mom, a wife, a friend, a daughter, an employee if i ever get to go back to work and a pregnant one at that. Oh and sometimes Courtney. Summing that all up to a WOMEN trying to do right by the people I care about.
I don’t think i’ll be adding videos or pictures yet. Unless Tumblr has made it easy somehow. Maybe my son will know how (literally laughing out loud because i’m totally serious).
Last but not least i think i did a crap job at keeping it short and sweet but hey , its my first go , cut me some slack and come back !

I’ve refrained from the pregnancy updates due to the fetish blogs kind of adulterating something to me that has been far too special for me to sit back and allow it to be sexualized, but baby boy will be here January 7th, 2020 via scheduled c-section. He is still breech, so that is the plan. I will be so happy to finally see his face, but I can’t help but predict I will miss feeling him 24/7 inside my belly. I’ve had such a smooth and comfortable pregnancy, I’ve been so lucky and it’s made me truly love the experience of being pregnant. I will miss being a home for you like this Elijah. 🦋💘
