Your puppy doesn’t need to meet EVERYONE.

One of the biggest mistakes puppy owners make?

Thinking socialisation means taking their puppy everywhere and letting them interact with every person, dog, and new experience.

But good socialisation isn’t about MORE.

It’s about helping your puppy learn:

“New things are safe.”

“I can stay calm around distractions.”

“My human will keep me safe.”

“I don’t have to greet everyone.”

Start somewhere quiet. Keep outings short. Let your puppy sniff, watch, and process what’s happening.

And most importantly… don’t force them when they’re overwhelmed.

If your puppy freezes, hides, tucks their tail, barks excessively, pants heavily, or tries to escape, they may be telling you, *“This is too much.”*

Listen to them. ❤️
