I think this is the very last time I purchased pastries at Moji Bakery. This used to be my wallet friendly go-to outlet when I am craving for sweet or savoury pastries. The standards of the baked goods had deteriorated 👎 by so much that I suspected their experienced pastry chefs might have left the bakery. Just look at the cross section of the Sweet Tau Sar Piah (甜豆沙饼). The dough is so thick that it interferes with the enjoyment of the pastry. But that is not the worst yet, the bean paste doesn’t even taste like it is made from mung beans! Sadly, I had to discard them into the bin. 😞
