Phew, it feels like it’s been a while since I last posted here. I took a long vacation and went to Portugal, so I thought I’d give a little update.
I haven’t been painting much, mostly because of the heat and getting stuck on these two mermaids. Something’s not right. All the washes made one of them look messy and muddy in real life, and the color of the rock is bothering me too. Maybe it should be a dark cool blue. I might try changing that this coming week. If anyone has suggestions, I’m all ears.
I think I’ve started way too many side projects and it’s wearing me thin. I have a diorama I’ve been wanting to start, two anime dark elf garage kits that I began airbrushing, and I’m in the middle of a web design project. I’m still following my Blender course (I rigged Zelda and started working on her hair). I’ve been trying some animation too, which I actually find harder than Blender. I’m also working on three illustrations for my comic. I want to draw and paint more ( I have some oil painting studies I want to continue.) And since Warhammer The Old World released an errata, I’m looking into turning it into a book again, maybe even a tutorial.
So I’m certainly not idle. I just need to remember to take breaks, celebrate the little victories, and share what I make.
Wishing everyone lots of creativity and inspiration. Keep creating!
Just bought my first battletech box, really happy with what I'm seeing.
Old World is part of the news and preview list for Games Workshop’s upcoming Warhammer Fest 2023!!! On this occasion we painted this beautiful Bretonnia Knights!

Hobby journal : I couldnt help myself to finally start the little tugboat I got for my last birthday. I hate glue.

This is the final result of my work on the Aoshima Nissan Top Secret BNR34 Skyline GT-R '02. It appeared to be a big challenge for me and I'm not happy with it. But I learned a lot and looking forward with a hope to be better at scale modeling. Thanks to everuyone who commented, followed, liked my work. I will continue to produce this kind of content and maybe complement it with the video if there will be interest in it.
