Well, mostly finished. I still need to do some shading on the nose, but the Revell F-84f is done. I picked this omega up a few years ago, I wanted to replace the f-84 that I had and wasn't happy with. In the end, I needed to use the canopy glass from that old kit on thus one, so it was sacrificial anyhow. Pretty good little kit, was happy to get a red white and blue done by the 4th.

Alright, so, I got 3 model kits from an auction. After looking at them and checking the contents, I realize one of them has a trademark from 1998. Which is... well, not that uncommon in the second-hand market. An Airfix kit, 1:44 scale plane.
But then there's this Revell kit, and looking around I see it first came out in 1988 - and the thing that first struck me was how damned yellowed the paper was.
And I see in the contest mentioning safety laws that it meets anno 1989. I think this kit is almost as old as I am.
