I've gotten done with the Cavalier-Marshal for my custom City of Sigmar, Pharosgard.
Finally finished! I wasn't able to get everything done for the Olden Demon competition. The halberd head was especially dull, but some other details were missing too. Thanks to @save.miniatureart on IG for suggesting the pattern on the halberd. I'm not sure I got it realistic enough, but it does provide some extra interest to a part that was pretty bland.
After spending around a week on my last model, which was rather complex, I was shocked by how quickly I got done with my Alchemite Warforger.
Way back when the first wave of Cities of Sigmar came out, I ordered a box of Freeguild Cavaliers online, and what got delivered was Pontifex Zenestra.
I had no desire to put Pope Hypocrite I in my army, so I came up with something that would allow me to use her rules while fitting far better with the weird faith of the city of Pharosgard.

Here is my submission to Olden Demon 2026. I was hoping to spend more time on it but life got in the way and I had to rush to get it finished last minute.
I would especially like to improve the halberd head, I think the flat side is the worst part. The feather needs some work too. I think the armor is pretty good though I might need to lighten up the green reflections on it quite a bit as they are too subtle.
I am very happy with what I was able to do with the face. I don't usually paint humans and this sculpt is quite soft. I was going to add the red stripes on back of the pant leg, but ran out of time. The light side of the stones should be much higher in value, but I painted the base in about 5 minutes.
A big surprise to me is that I don't hate the green base rim. I still might paint it black eventually as I will want this guy to fit my old world collection.
