#model sheets

I've been working on this since yesterday. Whenever I draw Angus or the other MEOWCO characters, I always try to draw them using certain art pieces I've made as a reference. Most of the characters don't have any proper references. And even if they do, they're too old and outdated. That's why I'm trying to draw new ones for them.

Right now, I'm trying to finish Angus' model sheet. But due to personal matters, I've been having problems finishing it. After I'm done with Angus' model sheet, I'll create one for another character that I'll need to draw for a special Independence Day art piece.

A few years ago, I was able to find some documents on the Internet Archive that contained a massive amount of production material from Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds. I wanted to download the ones I liked the most. But I was always too busy. By the time I went to check them out again, I discovered that they were all removed from the Internet Archive.

I wasn't able to download any of the material in full. But I was able to get some screenshots of them. Here's all the production material that I was able to salvage.

The initial sketch for an animation frame with Dogtanian.

The colored cel and the background for that scene.

A cel that shows Dogtanian in the middle of a fight.

Another cel that shows a nice close-up shot of Porthos.

There was a model sheet for Dogtanian. But I wasn't able to get a screenshot of it. From what I remember, it was a standard model sheet of Dogtanian, but he had an outline around his snout that formed a muzzle. Since this was probably made early in the show's life, the muzzle could have been part of an attempt to revise the original design Dogtanian had in the show's pilot to be more cartoonish.

As I've said previously, there were a lot of production materials from the show that were archived, including backgrounds and model sheets for characters other than Dogtanian. But since the Internet Archive deleted them all, I can't find them anywhere. All I have are the URLs for the cels and model sheets I took screenshots of.
