I drew them my fav character from each show. 😺

This is probably a post i’m sure nobody was expected but since I use this blog to document any obscure breadwinners content this one was such an amazing find.

so I was on Twitter and somebody had posted these modeling sheets with both the season one and season two art style and I can clarify these are official considering it uses the season one model sheet and the classic png photos that you would see on the second row from the old nickelodeon website while season two you can probably notice the differences by the proportions especially how weird Swaysway’s arms are in season two are literally not connected to his body while season two buhdeuce apparently got some plastic surgery to his beck because it’s shorter now.

This makes me wonder if there were other model sheets for other breadwinners characters out there somewhere in Nickelodeon Animation Studio archives tucked away with other rare content never to be shown to the public, But the best thing about those if you ever wanted references to draw those two indifferent angles or maybe for designing clothes for them this would come in handy. It’s unknown what happened to the other model sheets considering there wasn’t any information online about them so I’m hoping they weren’t thrown out after the show’s cancellation or worse destroyed considering Nickelodeon is known to never releases content like this to the public unless somebody leaks them.

But anyways I wanna hear from you guys on what you think about this, I would love to hear what you guys have to say about this amazing find.

*Buhdeuce’s POV*

I still remember the day I first laid eyes on him…

The way I was so mesmerized by him and his reckless flying in Duck Town in search of a Breadwinning partner. As the day went on, I was determined to earn not just the job, but his friendship… and it definitely paid off.

But as time went by, things started to change… for me, at least. When he complimented me, my heart soared. When he gave me duck hugs, I was putty in his arms. And most of all, when he was gushing over that girl, I felt… jealousy.

Pure, unadulterated Jealousy. 

Seriously, I’ll never understand how he’ll always chase after someone who always leaves him in the dirt for some scummy biker ducks!

Eventually, I managed to put it all together. I was in love with him. Not just a simple crush, but full blown in LOVE! I wish he knew how he made me feel inside. I wish he knew how much I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

I wish he would stop wasting his time on a lost cause and realize how much more I have and will always do for him than she ever could.

…You deserve better, SwaySway.

*SwaySway’s POV*

I just don’t understand…

I serenaded her with love songs, used dangerous breads to get her attention, even risked mine and everyone else’s lives to land a date with her… and yet…

…It’s always the same outcome! I’ve done practically EVERYTHING to win her heart, but it always backfires in my face! Yeah, most of my attempts were beyond quazy, but I truly thought I had a chance at making her mine. It should’ve been me and not those stupid thugs that easily reel her in with no effort. At least… that’s what I thought before I started thinking more about… someone else.

I really should’ve listened to him. He was trying to warn me this whole time about her, but I just turned a blind eye like the featherbrain I am. 

And now that I think about it, he’s the only one who truly stayed with me. He stayed when I’d go QuayQuay, when I let my impulses get the better of me, and… when I was so caught up in trying desperately to win her heart. He stayed through it all.

It wasn’t until now that I realized how loyal he truly is and how much I took him for granted. He always did have a big heart and has proved it time and time again. And the more I reflected on this, I started to feel something much deeper than appreciation. This feeling is so similar to how I felt towards her. It’s like… for the first time, she doesn’t matter to me. The only person that matters most is him.

…You deserve better, Buhdeuce.

*3rd person POV*

*The Swamp Pad*

Today was one of those days where SwaySway & Buhdeuce finished their bread deliveries early and went home to enjoy the rest of their day off. At the Swamp Pad, they just did their usual stuff. Taking Jelly on a walk, playing video games, practicing Party Punching. Again, the usual.

SwaySway, spread out on his bed reading one of his Super Duck comics, looked down at Buhdeuce, who was watching TV on the living room couch with Jelly. He then looked back at his comic book nervously. He’s had something on his mind for the longest and since he didn’t know how to tell Buhdeuce off the bat, he kept to himself and put on a facade of his usual optimistic behavior. 

Buhdeuce, however, knew something was up with his taller bap. Mainly because Sway had suddenly stopped stalking and obsessing over Jenny Quackles. In fact, he hadn’t mentioned her in over two weeks, which says a LOT. Perhaps he finally gave up on trying to win her love. While Deucer was intrigued by this shift in Sway’s behavior, it also left him concerned for a specific reason.

“C’mon, Sway…” SwaySway thought to himself. “He’s your best bap. You can ask him anything. You can do this…!”

With that, SwaySway finally stood up from his bed and climbed down to the living room where Buhdeuce & Jelly were. Sway took a breath before he spoke.

He quickly switched to his optimistic persona. “Hey, Buhdeuce! I know we’ve been relaxing for a little bit since we came home, buuut… What do you think about playing some games at the arcade in Duck town?”

“The arcade??” Buhdeuce's eyes lit up as he jumped up from the couch. “Yep yep, yeppity YEP YEP!!”

As the ducks headed down to the hangar, they kept their excited demeanor, but so much more was going on in their heads. So much more that they were both so oblivious to.

“If only he knew we’re actually going on a date…” SwaySway thought to himself.

“Oh my bap! This feels like we’re going on a date!” Buhdeuce also thought to himself.

The duo made it down to the hangar, hopped into the rocket van, and with the sound of SwaySway slamming his foot onto the acceleration, they flew off at high speed to Duck Town.

*Quazy Eights Arcade, Duck Town*

*CRASH!!!*

The rocket van rammed into the ceiling of the arcade. SwaySway & Buhdeuce hopped out to see dozens upon dozens of arcade games. Some even being their favorite classics such as “Ducky Kong” and “Michael Quackson’s Moonwalker”.

“Woooaaahhhh!” They exclaimed in unison. SwaySway held his hand out to Buhdeuce, to which he gladly intertwined his hand with Sway’s. They walked around the place, deciding which game to play first. Eventually, they chose to start with “Party Pants Dance-Off”. From there, they went on to play other fun games.

From “Turbo Washer 2000” and “Quacksune Beaku: Colorful Stage” to crane games and pinball games! The more games they played, the more arcade tickets they earned. A little while later, they had hundreds of them and agreed it was time to bring their motherload to the ticket counter before heading to the ticket station to pick out prizes.

As the ducks stood in the line leading to the ticket counter, Buhdeuce spotted a giant Teddy Bread plushie and pointed to it, his eyes lighting up.

“Look, Sway!” Buhdeuce exclaimed. “You think we can get that?”

SwaySway looked back at the receipt from the ticket counter, showing they had 4,326 tickets. WOWZA!! “I don’t see why not!”

“YEAHH BOY!!” Buhdeuce jumped up and down.

SwaySway giggled at his smaller bap’s excitement, but that eagerness quickly turned to concern when Sway coulda sworn he saw a certain someone from the corner of his eye. He turned around and it was exactly who he thought it was.

It was none other… than Jenny Quackles…

Like always, Jenny never noticed SwaySway was there. Even if she did, she just pretended she didn’t know the dude. Nevertheless, at that moment, SwaySway was immediately put under tremendous pressure. Every other time he’d spot Jenny, he would rush to try and shoot his shot without a second OR first thought. But this time was different. Instead of letting his judgement be clouded by impulse, he stopped himself before he could act.

For the first time in SwaySway’s life… he found himself in an internal debate. 

Was he going to go back to his old, unhealthy habits of trying to chase a girl who wants nothing to do with him? Or was he going to stand his ground, finish this secret date with his best bap, and finally spill to him what’s on his mind?

The amount of willpower SwaySway had to harness was unfathomable. He kept his composure on the outside, but his mind was basically at war. Two choices mingling together, but only one would change the course of the rest of the day if decided. Eventually…

“No…!” SwaySway thought to himself, now looking at Buhdeuce from the corner of his eye. “No more wild goose chases…! Buhdeuce NEEDS me here with him! I refuse to abandon him for the same outcome I’ve gotten with… her.”

Buhdeuce looked at SwaySway again with an innocent smile and a small blush to his cheeks. Sway looked at him the same. Just seeing his smaller bap smile and having fun gave him reassurance that he made the right choice for the right reasons.

Soon enough, the duo made it to the front counter of the prize station. For the next minute or two, they picked out their prizes. Stickers, candy, toy swords, stuffed animals, and… the giant Teddy Bread that Buhdeuce wanted, which SwaySWay was more than happy to get for him. Plus, it was only 200 tickets for something so big!

“Well, it’s getting late, Deucer. Ready to head home?” Sway looked to his smaller bap.

Buhdeuce hugged his Teddy Bread, satisfied. “Yep yep!”

With that, they gathered their prizes and made their way back to the rocket van, which was still sitting in the giant hole they made when they first crash landed into the place. After loading their treasures in the van, the ducks hopped into their front seats and flew off.

“So, Deucer… did you have fun today?” Sway looked at him before bringing his eyes back to the windshield.

“Yep yep! I had a blast! I’m especially happy that I got this giant Teddy Bread I wanted! Those tickets were SO worth it!” Buhdeuce held his Teddy Bread close to him.

“You can say that again! We. Are. LOADED!!”

The ducks burst into laughter. As the rocket van zoomed through the sky, Buhdeuce couldn’t help but blush a little as he glanced at SwaySway.

“Man… he always looks so cool while driving the rocket van.” Buhdeuce thought to himself. “I know it isn’t actually, but this was such a fun date. If not the BEST date I’ve ever been on!”

He then looked back to his Teddy Bread, n0w looking a bit disappointed. “If only he knew my true feelings…”

Meanwhile, as SwaySway continued to drive, he also began to think to himself.

“I’m so happy I could make Buhdeuce happy.” He softly smiled. “Plus… I’m glad I resisted trying to go after Jenny for once… I just couldn’t bear the idea of Buhdeuce being left alone because of my stupidity.”

He took another glance at Buhdeuce, his smile fading a bit. “If only he knew this was actually a date and that there’s more to how I feel about him…”

*The Swamp Pad*

After crash landing the rocket van into the doors of the hangar, SwaySway & Buhdeuce hopped out and gathered their arcade prizes from the back of the van, making their way up to the main house.

“Hey, Buhdeuce?” Sway asked. “Once we’re settled in, can I talk to you about something?"

“Sure, Sway!” Buhdeuce said.

Shortly after stashing their treasures and settling back home, the duo made their way outside to the front porch of the house. As they sat down beside each other, they took in the view of the warm sunset in front of them.

“Woah…” Sway looked at the horizon in awe. “Awesomeness…!”

“Yep yep…!” Deucer nodded. “So… what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?”

SwaySway gulped, took a breath, and slowly began…

“There’s… something I’ve been… wanting to tell you for a while now. It’s really important to me and… I’ve had no idea how to tell you until now.”

“Go on…”

Sway took another breath. “I know for a long time, I’ve been madly in love with Jenny Quackles. I spent too much time trying to win her heart, only to embarrass myself and get rejected. In fact, I guess I may as well tell you that… I noticed she was also at the arcade today.”

“She was at the arcade?? But wait! You didn’t-” “I didn’t go after her. It was my choice not to. I wasn’t gonna risk it all again for the same outcome and leave you alone, Buhdeuce. I wanted you to be happy the entire time.”

“You didn’t go after her… for my sake?” “Yes, for your sake. Plus, I’ve… pretty much gotten over Jenny now.”

Buhdeuce jumped up. “I KNEW IT!! That’s why you haven’t brought her up or stalked her in weeks!”

“Hahah…! Yeah, that’s right.” SwaySway softly chuckled. “But also…”

SwaySway lowered his head.

“Also what, Bap?” Buhdeuce tilted his head, curious.

“But also… I’ve fallen for someone else now…”

The sentence hit Buhdeuce hard, but he caught himself before he could show any despair.

“I knew it…” He thought sadly. “He wouldn’t love a duck like me…”

“So…” Buhdeuce asked as he sat back down. “Who’s this new person you’re in love with?”

“Come on, Sway…! No backing out now! You gotta tell him!!” 

Like it were a leap of faith, SwaySway took one final deep breath before he continued speaking.

“Well… this person… is someone who I’m really close to. Someone who’s always been there for me and has always had my back, no matter what. I never realized up until now… how much they mean to me…”

“Mhm…”

“When these feelings first started, I didn’t wanna admit that I was falling for someone else. I tried so hard to tell myself that I still had eyes for Jenny. But now… I can’t deny it any longer. I know now that I have to be honest with myself and my feelings.”

“So, who is it?” Buhdeuce lowered his head a little, bracing himself.

Out of nowhere, he felt his hand become intertwined with SwaySway’s. He looked up to see SwaySway, who was a nervous wreck, blushing hard and clutching his chest.

“It’s you… Buhdeuce. I’m in love… with YOU!”

Now SwaySway was the one with his head lowered, his face redder than his smaller bap’s hat. Buhdeuce sat there with his eyes widened. His taller bap’s words echoed endlessly in his mind.

Seconds felt like hours until Buhdeuce’s brain was flooded with thoughts.

“Oh my bap…! No way…! Did he just say… what I think he said…???”

SwaySway kept his head lowered until… he felt something make contact with his hand. It felt… wet. He lifted his head a little to see Buhdeuce on the verge of tears, still gripping his hand.

“Aw crummers!” He thought. “What have I done?!”

SwaySway began to panic. “Oh no…! No, no, no, no! I’m so sorry, Buhdeuce! I never meant to make you cry-”

Before Sway could pull his hand away, Buhdeuce kept his grip. Tight this time.

“SwaySway…” Buhdeuce’s voice started breaking. “You don’t understand…”

“I know! I screwed up! I shouldn’t have said anything-”

“SWAYSWAY! Please listen!” Buhdeuce snapped.

With that, SwaySway went silent, letting him speak.

“Sway… you have no idea…” Buhdeuce finally let his tears fall. “You have no idea how badly I hoped you’d say that…!”

SwaySway looked at Buhdeuce in disbelief, trying to process if he heard that correctly.

“I’ve been in love with you since the day I met you and became a Breadwinner. Every time you’d chase after Jenny, I was so jealous that SHE was the one you loved and not me! I knew from the start that she didn’t deserve you… and that you deserved someone who would actually return your feelings!”

The more SwaySway listened, the more disbelief he felt.

“Because of her, I had no idea how to tell you how I truly felt inside! But now, I know I can finally say this with all my heart. I love you, SwaySway! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE IN ALL OF PONDGEA!!”

“Oh, Buhdeuce…” Sway’s eyes weld up with tears. “That makes me so happy to hear…! And ya know what? I gotta also confess that… I intended for our day at the arcade to be a date so I could finally confess to you!” “ARE YOU SERIOUS?!” Buhdeuce’s eyes lit up through his tears. “I thought of it as a date too!!”

Next thing they knew, they started to laugh. Together, they laughed a happy, emotional sound that made their hearts soar. What was really expected, however, was Buhdeuce suddenly jumping at SwaySway, causing the taller duck to fall over backwards and land on the floor of the front porch. At that moment, Buhdeuce was now hovering above SwaySway.

The ducks settled from their laughter and looked into each other’s eyes with adoration for each other. Neither of them could believe this was happening. They both didn’t think this would happen at all. It felt like a dream, one they didn’t wanna wake from. Who would’ve guessed that after what felt like eternity of not knowing, their feelings for each other would turn out to be mutual.

As they wrapped their arms around each other, their faces slowly drew closer to one another. It was the moment they (and we, yes, WE) have been waiting for.

“I loaf you, SwaySway.”

“I loaf you too, Buhdeuce.”

SwaySway & Buhdeuce wasted no more time. As the sunset reached its peak, their beaks finally connected in a soft, passionate kiss. It was a dream come true for the both of them. Every second of everyday they spent waiting for this exact moment finally got its worth. Eventually, their beaks parted and they went back to staring at each other admirably. Words failed to describe the level of euphoria rushing through both of them.

“Woah…” SwaySway said, smiling. “That. Was. Awesome…!”

“Yep… Yep…!” Buhdeuce smiled as well.

Sway sat back up and sat Deucer on his lap and looked into his eyes once more.

SwaySway spoke, taking both his hands in his. “Buhdeuce… whatever happens, let’s promise to never abandon each other and always be together forever like we always have.”

Buhdeuce looked up at SwaySway. “Of course! I’ll never leave you, SwaySway… my sweetheart!”

Buhdeuce’s pet name for him tugged at SwaySway’s heartstrings. Not only that, but Deucer gave one of Sway’s hands a little peck, which gave the tall duck major butterflies in his stomach.

“And I’ll never leave you, Buhdeuce… my darling.” SwaySway then gave Buhdeuce a peck on his forehead, also giving him major butterflies.

Afterwards, the duck duo-turned-couple turned to face the sunset, holding each other close as they watched the sun finish lowering under the horizon. Soon, they gathered themselves and went back into the house to get ready for bed before cuddling up in SwaySway’s bed and drifting off to sleep together.
