PSA TO ANYONE HATING ON @headcanongarbagedump
In the latest poll there was a lot of discourse over putting "airbrushed lydia" against "potato martin". I have a few points to make on that:
A) If you think Martin is too ugly to go against a slightly modded follower, you never liked him in the first place.
B) Martin won anyway, so clearly the odds were in his favor no matter how attractive Lydia was in the photo.
C) That one person who put Remastered Martin to try and "combat" modded Lydia, it didn't do anything, OG Martin is just as babygirl and you were just being petty
Edit: The person from point C was being playful and not serious, that one's on me. Was trying to cover all the bases for how they were getting practically jumped in the notes.
D) The person who requested Lydia specifically requested the modded version of her. That is the POINT of this Tamriel Sexyperson poll, for the people to pick and choose what characters they want in said poll even if they're modded. I was even asked on one of the vanilla characters I entered into the poll if I wanted him vanilla or a mod appearance, because lo and behold, that is the POINT. Guess what, your vanilla faves are probably gonna go up against modded followers like Kaidan and Val! Cope and vote.
E) If all of you decide to "vote for the lesser option" just to stick it to anyone who suggested a modded option, then you're toxic and cruel, because all this is was a way to have a bit more fun and flavor with the Sexyperson poll. Grow up and vote how you actually would instead of a pity vote because they were pitted against something non-vanilla. If a modded follower wins then a modded follower wins; if a canon character wins then a canon character wins.

In all seriousness I disconnected from Skyrim as a special interest for a while (working 6 days is a struggle I HATE it). I'd been feeling disconnected from myself for a while, living a good life by socialising, dating, living life, going out etc. but masking sooo much I forgot how to safely be me.
I had an experience recently doing public speaking and it felt like a conclusion to a struggle I'd been having for a while. Now I'm reclaiming me again, and that means Skyrim.
The follower mod Gore (whose story soothes and touches me to the core), feels like such a beautiful way to return to my oc Novrynea, and Skyrim generally.
Oh Elder Scrolls I've missed you.
