Brynjolf grinding against where his favorite recruit's perched in his lap and watching him melt. Bryn's hands on his hips and his lad's grip on his shoulders practically bruising. A kiss can't hurt, right? He's met with eager lips and a sinful moan.
"I'm not," his recruit pants into his mouth. "I've never been into another guy before."
"'S alright, lad." Brynjolf groans, hands guiding his recruit's hips to roll into his. "Hardly counts if we're both fully dressed."
admittedly, i am not a Thives Guild girl so I might be way off here, but in my heart Brynjolf always strikes me as someone who would have a dad bod.

“I'm not.” She says with a calm tone. "I don't see monsters here."
Followed by her words, a soft smile frames his face. “Then what is it that I am to you, lass?”

Does anyone else find it deeply unsettling that, as soon as you marry someone in Skyrim, they lose their sense of identity? They lose their previous lifestyle, profession, and their unique flavor of dialogue. It's even more apparent with candidates with a lot of personality like Jenassa. With Ysolda, it makes sense that she wants to open a shop, but she also gives up on her dreams to run the Bannered Mare one day and learning the merchant's trade in an active way, travelling the land trading with the caravans.
You uproot them from their homes and just walk in, get food from them, get some gold, ask about any children, and leave for Gods-only-know how long. The least changed are the Housecarls, but it feels exploitative to marry them when they're already your indentured man and lady servants.
Long story short, that's why I now choose to be forever single in Skyrim!
And it has nothing at all to do with Brynjolf and Mercer being un-marriageable. Nope!
My beloved husband and my best friend's loving boyfriend
@solar-nightengale Ohh, ok, ill keep talking XD.
The original game heavily implies that Brynjolf is not happy with becoming a Nightingale. He becomes more introverted, shoos the player off, hides behind a hood, refuses from the role of a Guildmaster.
Lycantropy looks like Bryn's way to say "well, my soul is wrecked, but at least two daedra lords will fight for it after my death now". Plus, it would give him a feeble chance to choose an afterlife on his conditions.
Tbh, vampirism goes to the same category, but vampire Bryn concept doesnt click to me personally.....unless?
