Are there any episodes you have OpinionsTM over that you did get the chance to voice? (Take this as your free ticket to rant away about them.)
@uwouldthink thank you for your ask and prepare for my lengthy ranting ahead. As a warning, I talk about ableism both in and outside of the show for a bit so be prepared for that.
Out of the episodes I've posted about, I hated the ableism in Chameleon when I watched it around the time it first aired as it felt like the writers were insinuating that disabled people must provide absolutely every stranger who happens to exist around them their entire medical history and all official diagnosis for the chance of receiving bare bones accommodations that may not even exist. I remember the fandom backlash of "oh, Lila should've had a doctor's note if she wasn't lying, she doesn't have one so she's lying about her disability" which ignored how difficult it can be for some people to see a doctor due to medical stereotypes, let alone obtain a proper diagnosis, especially for those with what's considered invisible disabilities. I would know.
alya being the one to snap out of the alliance trance because “ladybug and chat noir would never do that” is so funny to me because she is the one person in paris who knows ladybug in fact absolutely would kidnap adrien agreste and almost everyone on that boat has encouraged her to do so
Worth the 8 years! <3

i love how adrien's plan for lycée is just "i don't give a shit what classes i take so long as i get to See My Girlfriend Every Day. i love my girlfriend. did i mention i have a girlfriend btw. her name is marinette. that's my girlfriend. i want to be with my girlfriend"
Adrien's dream is to become Marinette's malewife
“I know how I would feel if I had to be separated from you, Adrien. And there’s nothing funny about that at all.”
The way Plagg refused to joke about cheese and quickly responded affectionately in the most disinterested way? The one who said “you will miss me” just a few episodes back?
Huge. He’s really serious about his love for Adrien when it comes to the hard parts. Especially when Adrien’s heart is involved.
